http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/65.page JForum - http://www.jforum.net I've been a longtime member, mostly a lurker, dating back to my old army on account name 'karmaiko'. I've since sold most of that army save for a few select pieces, and then took a haitus of two years.
In that time I've worked hard on my career and have my own place now, and am able to afford a better effort into the game. I spent most of my prior involvement painting selected elite units like Vanguard or modded Land Raiders, so my army was not suitable for games (I had two troops to field, and one was a 5 sniper squad). Needless to say, I didn't win many games (but I looked great getting my butt kicked!) except for a few games I was able to successfully unload a full TH/SS Chaplain in Terminator Armour out of a LR Crusader and completely crush an opposing army. This only happened a few times though.

Now as I mentioned I have a better income and am making a larger push into 'competitive' lists. Frankly I'm sick of getting my butt kicked simply because the model options I have are so few. With that in mind I'm putting a list together one step at a time working towards 2500 points combined of Tau and Eldar, aiming to have it tabletop quality painted (save for a few select HQ pieces that I want to put effort into like a Eldar Farseer (that shining spear model is gorgeous)). So hi everyone, it's nice to be here and I hope to meet some new players and decent people (I know they exist in this community, just gotta find them!).
