But who'll ever get to shoot at this list? Say you remove 10 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(661);'>HPs</span> in a shooting phase (equivalent firepower of 30 autocannons, so a decent return) them you get 6-10 pie plates in your face plus those autocannons. And I grow back on average 3. So if I do as little as 30% damage to your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span> (the only thing I'd target whilst Void Shields are around) you do 7 still leaving me with 4 and I grow back 4-5. You run out of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span> long before I run out of shields. Even a 9 Broadside and double Riptide list will only strip about 14-15 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(661);'>HPs</span> a turn (assuming no S6+ elsewhere in list, so even with that you'll be luck to do more than 16 in turn 1, Then Griffon+Medusa nails a broadside unit each, Manticores pile more pain on them I should be on about 8-9 shields turn 2 and you'll be in a position where you'll struggle to take more than 4-5 out).<br /> <br /> What the hell causes that list a real problem?]]></description>

Plus adds weight of wounds to finish of the stragglers after the Medusa toasts nearly everything.<br /> <br /> The Void shields don't do anything for assault. However the Promethium relay gives all my flame weapons the torrent rule and I have a bajillion large blasts. I'm not worried about assault in this edition. 60 dogs causes me a problem and that's about it.<br /> <br /> I suppose it is only 39 points for Inquisitor with Servo skulls I could drop the armoured Sentinel from the 2k list. I believe that would work with another Griffon or a Basilisk when firing Barrage. Griffon fires first, scatter is twin linked,  then another scatter is rolled to see where the second and/or third pie plate goes in conjunction with the multiple barrage rules. Medusa is not a Barrage weapon. It's only ordnance.  There for, you would fire the griffon. Roll it's <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(1);'>2D6</span> plus scatter. Then, you would be allowed to refroll it. Then medusa would fire. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(1);'>2D6</span> and scatter with no reroll allowed because of Griffon.<br /> <br /> Put it with a Bassy and you would get one reroll for the Griffon, but not the Earthshaker cannon.<br /> <br /> Griffon with more Griffons, reroll everything pretty much.<br /> <br /> That's my understanding of it. If I'm missing something, please feel free to inform me.]]></description>

Any Daemon that can <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(471);'>DS</span> next to you is going to render your templates as dangerous as they are helpful. With your inf bunched up that way one or two bad rolls and you are going to wipe 10+ of your own dudes a turn. Hounds and Spawn can take enough wounds to tie up the inf. while the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(630);'>FMC</span>'s clean up the artillery. <br /> <br /> If I can get a black mace anywhere in that big ol nasty then each wound wipes 2/3's of the bodies within 12in. <br /> <br /> A Dirge Caster is Necessary but if I can get a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> close enough to count your entire egg is cracked. <br /> <br /> I play Chaos (clearly), but in this case a Dirge Caster or two and a properly equipped Character/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MC</span> or two with an Allied <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(233);'>GUO</span> would all arrive withing 12 in. of you turn two and be out of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LOS</span> turn one. Would have a decent chance of murdering you. Not a great counter but a quick one. You could easily get eatin by an airforce Chron list also. The chainlightning/Immotek + Wraiths would cause real issue, with Night Fight being a contributor. I don't play Chrons but I imagine with no <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(805);'>AA</span> it would be difficult at best for an ARTY list. ]]></description>

Big Monsters perhaps but not that much <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(233);'>GUO</span> is not a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(630);'>FMC</span> so it really isn't a worry. Quad Flyrant would be more of a concern. A <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(262);'>DP</span> will have too much S10 to contend with unless you get ironarm. Yeah the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> codex is not one to fear, Helldrakes, Oblits and black maces are their only competitive units and none are great against this build. Daemons are more of a problem but it is the dogs list that concerns me most. <br /> <br /> This list is designed to fight all the shooty lists that are top tier at the moment.]]></description>

Remember if you want your void shields to overlap eachother you are gonne have to bunch up your units, maybe this idea seems alot better in theory.<br /> Sure you can beat a guy that is totally unprepared for it, but that goes for everything. <br /> Not so sure that the best thing to do, while learning how the new meta is, is to make the most extreme list you can possibly think up. Better go with some balance.]]></description>

I've a 24" bubble and my list isn't that model heavy so don't assume I'll be massively clumped, ruins further help spreading models between multiple levels. Manticores do cause this list a problem though as they can strip 7-8 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(661);'>HPs</span> each (with about 2 S10 large blasts).<br /> <br /> I think extreme lists and coming up with them is one of the best parts of a meta shift particularly one like this with so much potential change available to nearly every army.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I don't know these void shields, never heard of them, are they from one of the new expansions? <br /> <br /> Still, thought I'd have a go at a counter list <br /> <br /> 2000 point <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>de</span><br /> <br /> 2x haemonculus<br /> - liquifier<br /> - venom blade<br /> <br /> 3 squads of 3 trueborn<br /> - 3 blasters<br /> - venom with extra splinter cannon<br /> <br /> 3 squads of 5 wyches<br /> - haywire grenades<br /> - venom with extra cannon<br /> <br /> 2 squads of 9 wyches (haemys go here)<br /> - haywire<br /> - raider with flickerfield<br /> <br /> 2 squads of 5x scourges<br /> - 2 haywire blasters<br /> <br /> 2x razorwing jetfighters<br /> <br /> 1x ravager<br /> <br /> This comes about 1960 so I still have a little left over for night shields / wych weapons. <br /> <br /> This puts out 9 haywire shots a turn, & 18 lance shots, so dealing 18 hull points is possible.  In addition there's then up to 8 larhe blast missiles, & 90 poisoined shots to lower the number of overwatch shots, of which you'll only be able to target one of my assaulting squads as I'll have multiple units charging your blobs.<br /> <br /> I think the theory I have is correct though it is late AND a Monday, so apologies if I'm a little off!]]></description>

Dont forget that when they try to penetrate or glance your shield, you dont get cover saves on those shots. <br /> Im not sayin that the list isnt hard to beat, it sure is. But just pointing out a weakness. Dont pretend it's not there, it gets cold in russia, people need winter clothes to fight...]]></description>
