				<title>Ork Escalation League Lists (Starting at 1000 points)</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ So I've seen <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(211);'>LGS</span> in my area is starting a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(3);'>40k</span> escalation league at 1000 points in the middle of January, and since I will have about 3 weeks before my next semester I figured I would try to get that done and start working on the models to expand it, maxing at around 1500-1750 points.<br /> <br /> I currently have a 30 strong boyz mob (All shootas) with a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> nob  built and painted, and a Battlewagon I am waiting on the Deffrolla for. I have a massive collection of sprued/boxed models from a buying spree so I can build everything except for warbuggies/trakks, Kans, and Dreads in either one full unit or spam amounts.<br /> <br /> I was thinking of going with this to start with to get a painted/converted army done in the short time I have available:<br /> <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span><br /> <br /> Big Mek - 115 points<br /> 'Eavy Armour, Bosspole, Cybork Body, 2x Grot Oilers, Kustom Force Field<br /> <br /> Troops - 494 points<br /> <br /> Ork Shoota Boyz x 18 - 154 points (Mek rides here)<br /> 1x Big shoota<br /> Nob<br /> Power Klaw<br /> <br /> Ork Shoota Boyz x 19 -170 points<br /> 2x Big shootas<br /> Nob<br /> Power Klaw, Bosspole<br /> <br /> Ork Shoota Boyz x 19 -170 points<br /> 2x Big shootas<br /> Nob<br /> Power Klaw, Bosspole<br /> <br /> Heavy Support<br /> <br /> Battlewagon - 130 points<br /> Armour plates, 1x Big Shoota, Deff Rolla, Red Paint Job<br /> <br /> Battlewagon - 130 points<br /> Armour plates, 1x Big Shoota, Deff Rolla, Red Paint Job<br /> <br /> Battlewagon - 130 points<br /> Armour plates, 1x Big Shoota, Deff Rolla, Red Paint Job<br /> <br /> Total: 999 points<br /> <br /> I figure this lets me just have to paint up the remaining 30 Orks, the Mek, and Battlewagons before the league starts, hopefully having them ready a week or two beforehand to get some time to play them (It's actually been a while since I've played at this store, or the game in general). Basically my play would be ride up hoping nothing gets blown up and then disembark the boys to go for the soft meat and then play demolition derby with the wagons. I'm currently trying to figure out how I will expand this, but was thinking Nobz in Trukks behind or bikers. I was also thinking as a change to this list, maybe dropping one of the Wagons and a Grot Oiler from the Mek, and putting in some a 9 strong mob of Lootas and maybe using the now footslogging group of shoota boyz as backfield defense, mid field objective grabbers, or second wave running up to the other sides deployment zone.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ This is literally the basis of my 1500 point list haha. I add more big shootas to the wagons to help preserve the deffrolla on damage results and then add in another big mek and two dakkajets. Comes out to be around 1500 haha.<br /> <br /> So, as such, I think that this will be great seeing as how it's what I use <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(84);'>lol</span>. I might suggest that later on you drop the 'eavy armor from the big mek and just give him cybork. He will already have the 4+ cover save from the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span> and if he's in a challenge he is going to have his armor ignored by most things anyway, so that 5+ invul can be nice.<br /> <br /> Will free up a few points possibly. I'd also give the Nobz eavy armor, as the battlewagonsWILL blow up, and you want them to try and be able to shrug off that wound if it happens so they can possibly survive a space marine sgt or something in a challenge. But at 1k I think you are in good shape!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Yea, I don't want to be a "That guy" with the army, but on the other hand I also want to at least have some defense should I play one. <br /> <br /> From what I can see the pros of the list as it now is it's fast, has good frontal durability if formed up right only presenting a couple of sides, if I survive with all three to the other side the chewy ork center can cause havoc while the wagons run over things.<br /> <br /> The cons to me are I don't really have anything else I'm doing besides rushing up so all my kills are there, unless I leave a mob behind I might not be able to hold objectives, and if I do leave a mob behind it probably won't have support, could get wrecked if playing someone using flyers what can shoot my rear or sides or has fast things that can get behind, and could cheese off people who can't take down the AV14.<br /> <br /> So what could be my alternatives if I dropped one of the wagons, still keeping with wanting the army to be fast? The lootas would be nice to ping away at long range, but would be pretty static and might not have support. <br /> <br /> Some of the fast alternatives I see with juggling some points around could be a 4 strong warbiker mob with a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> nob, 8 strong storm boy mob with a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> nob, or a loaded out Dakkajet.<br /> <br /> The main thing I want to do with the army is to have fun while only focusing on a small pool of rules/tactical options so that I can keep it simple at first. So any thoughts on what else I could use instead that would work well are very welcome.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I think that as 1000 points this is going to be really solid. It might be "cheese" right now, but remember that as the points go up so will your opponents' ability to deal with AV14. If you were to drop a wagon, I would add some nob bikers. They are one of the best units that Orks have. If you then take a second <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> as a warboss they count as scoring, which is even better. That will probably elevate you to about 1300 points I'm guessing which lets you play around with dakkajets or other cool things.<br /> <br /> Remember that it's an escalation league so you should be planning beyond what the current army is. If your army is <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(280);'>OP</span> or underpowered, in a few escalations it might be better and be a solid army you can play for a long time.<br /> <br /> - VardenV2]]></description>
