I am playing in my club this weekend at 3.5k points.
As it is in our campaign and my side is loosing we have some nice benefits, including a skyshield and 12% extra points (which brings me to 3920 pts) so i should have a nice advantage.
On the other hand, i only have limited figs while my opponent has lots and has thus a much tougher army pointwise.

I cannot change much of the army but would like your advice on how to manage his list and what i should be carefull for.

However i should have quite a lot of psycanon, 8 of them twin linked (4 in Draigostar, 4 in purifier squad in chimera from archivist)

Ok so now that I have said that tho only real tactics are shoot his barges before they just kill everything you have, the vindicare assassin should shoot and kill a russ a turn.

I would drop 1 single paladin and buy the other 2 single paladins psycannons so they can deep strike behind transports and kill them.

If you can kill his transports then that's where you want your dreadknights so they can flame the unit inside, as for the draigo star the russ tanks can hurt you because of the double T so deep strike them behind he russ squad and take them out first turn, and if you fail then use the vindicare too finish up.]]> http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/567971/6337075.page http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/567971/6337075.page GMT

I agree the flyers will be my main issue, over half his strength will be in reserve at start.

However :
- the vindicare with icarius is good against flyers
- the draigostar can manage a flyer a turn
- the purifier with archivist can probably as well

So if i focus them i think they will be hurt.

I think i will focus the ground forces first (as long as flyers are in reserve).
The Russ can hurt the paladins but Draigo will try and tank the shots with his 3++ and FnP (as much as possible at least)and i will try to take them out in the first few turns (the 3 solo paladins will deapstrike in his backfield to charge the LR on T3) and the vindicare will try to get at least one in the first 2 turns.]]> http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/567971/6337253.page http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/567971/6337253.page GMT
