For this I'd like to hear some opinions on which chapter to take as an ally.<br /> <br /> Primary Blood Angels<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span><br /> Mephiston with codex powers<br /> <br /> Elite<br /> 3x Fragnought with hflamer in Drop Pod<br /> <br /> Troops<br /> 2x 5 Assault Marines with Plasma Pistol and sarge 1 with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>TH</span>+<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span>, sarge 2 power maul+<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span><br />     in Razorbacks with #1 LasCan+<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> Plasma and #2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> Heavy Bolter+<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(55);'>HK</span> missile<br /> <br /> Ally Space Marine<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span><br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(746);'>CM</span> with bike, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(805);'>AA</span>, Shield Eternal, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>TH</span>, Auspex<br /> <br /> Troops<br /> 5 bikers with 2 grav, 1 combi-grav<br /> <br /> Heavy<br /> 3 Centurions with 3 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> + 3 grav cannon and omniscope<br /> <br /> The list should be fun to run as everything except the cents are going to be putting pressure turn 1. It is weak on troops but I can live with that.<br /> <br /> Now should I play the allies as White Scars for their movement, hit and run, and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(627);'>HoW</span> benefits OR as Imperial Fists because it benefits the bikers and centurions both OR as Iron Hands to make an even worse beatstick OR as Ultrasmurfs for obvious reasons.<br /> <br /> Right now I am thinking they should be <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(149);'>WS</span> or IF.<br /> <br /> I've tried to put in elements that simply cannot be ignored. With the Fragnoughts, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(746);'>CM</span> and bikers making a nice alpha strike, I should have a turn to get my assault troops, Mephy and Centurions in better positions. I'll try to position my AV13 in such a way that they might survive a turn of shooting.<br /> <br /> I am aware that this list falls apart against lists such as Wave Spam, but I'll try to take them out with grav, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> and orbital. Better jink saves, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(627);'>HoW</span> and mostly H&R give you much greater versatility and tactical options than a re-roll against vehicles which cents will likely wreck anyway by grav cannons only.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Those assault squads are far too upgraded. I would take away the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span> for definite (use the wrecks of the soon to be dead razors to block <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LOS</span> if worried), and the plasma pistols, and probably also downgrade the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>th</span> to a power weapon. Also get rid of hunter killer missiles. These changes wilp save you 125pts.<br /> If you want to take out tanks with the dreads, dont upgrade to a h.flamer, keep the melta gun and instead upgrade to the magna grapple for 15 pts (only 5 pt difference on the flamer). This means on the drop you will have 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(171);'>st</span> 6 rending flamers, 1 melta gun shot and 1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(171);'>st</span> 8 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>ap</span> 1 shot that can even move tanks, this weapon means the furiosos can deal with hordes, tanks, squadrons and even <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>meq</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(652);'>teq</span> on the drop.<br /> <br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 9px; line-height: normal;">Automatically Appended Next Post:</span><br /> If you upgrade the dreads, you will have 110pts to spend. That means you can afford 10 bolter scouts which you can combat squad... now giving you a much safer amount of scoring.]]></description>

As a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> player I've always loved tooling up my assault squads a bit, but never like this. I'll make some modifications as suggested. Will re-post later.<br /> <br /> I'm not so sure about the scouts and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(149);'>WS</span> tactics, though. Would it not then be better to be IF or UM? Although I suppose H&R is pretty much mandatory for the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(746);'>CM</span>.<br /> <br /> What do you think of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(420);'>TFC</span> or Stormtalon instead?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Modified the list a bit:<br /> <br /> Fragnoughts dropped hflamer, got frag cannon and bfist/meltagun.<br /> <br /> Assault squads dropped all tools, now both teams have a flamer and team #1 sergeant has power maul, sarge #2 is standard.<br /> <br /> Added Stormtalon with Skyhammer missiles as allied fast.<br /> <br /> Also <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(436);'>CT</span> will be White Scars in the end. Exactly 1850 points. I was going to test it tomorrow, unfortunately my opponent can't make it..<br /> <br /> That Stormtalon is 125 pts, do I have a better option? I could take those 10 scouts, give 5 of them snipers and one heavy bolter, in combat squads. That setup comes to 1848 points. Maybe it gives me better backfield protection and snipers can be useful.]]></description>
