People specifically looking to buy painted armies already have quite a range of offers to choose from - unless you approached this as a "for sale" army from the start, maximizing your results vs. time spent, you'll likely have to sell yourself quite short to get anyone to bite.

I might even break down the army, selling the unpainted models separately from the painted units. If any but the best paintjobs end up depreciating the models' value, you may see some spillover in the perceived value of the rest of the lot.
