My sci fi fortifications laser terrain project

Hi guys! I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this post or if it should go in News and Rumors because, full disclosure, I'm seriously thinking about selling these. Mods?

These pieces are very much prototypes and I'd love to hear any feedback you're willing to share.

Games Workshop figures are shown for scale purposes only.

This is my first time at serious minis photography. I'm figuring out my new Sony a65, so I hope to have better pictures in the future as well. I'll be posting more pictures of my project as it develops. But updates will be slow to non-existent during the week of Christmas.

They look good and I'm sure that you could even be successful selling a couple, the problem is that this market is very saturated right now. Unfortunately you're about the hundredth person I've seen in the last year start to sell MDF laser cut terrain pieces, all of it looks about the same, some better than others, yours is some of the better stuff but I still think the market is too saturated to make any sort of real money out of this

I agree with the above poster. There are a lot of people doing the same thing right now.

Here is an article listing some of the competition. http://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/MDF_Scenery_Suppliers

That said, I like what you have done. It looks like you have some good skills and potential. I am a fan of modular terrain pieces. How easy is it to assemble?

Re:My sci fi fortifications laser terrain project

Thanks for your feedback so far guys.

Ideally I'd like to have a wide range of modular terrain both for myself and for people to choose from if/when I start selling these. Here's a some screen caps from a couple of bunkers that I'm currently working on. None have any kind of detail at the moment and both are far from done. I'm planning on designing at least one more.

I'm hoping for any suggestions or ideas on what people would like to see. Either in these sets or others.

My sci fi fortifications laser terrain project

looks good so far.

I have to agree with the other posters - it feels like a new laser cut terrain compnay pops up every other week.

However, not many of them are making trenches like that, so that is good.

One thing that would help once you get a final design, is more surface detail -some of the better pieces out there have a lot of surface detail (panel lines, technical patterns, etc.).

I think this added to your nice external pieces (i.e. not another corridor system) would help differentiate you a bit.
