It seems plausible for me, but with the bottom plate and the feet, it starts to be a bit heavy (although not enough to hold it in one hand).

I have planned on just having a bottom plate, feet, steel frame, big guns and sockets for the arms in metal (and perhaps its claw arm too), and use plasticcard for the rest (which is the head, smaller guns, blades on the claw, more armor plates etc). And of course, I do have an idea to have it so I can split it up into multiple parts for transportation.

You need to look up/talk to Pox. His current project is a 1:1 scale warbike, but before that was a welded ork landa. While there might be other big meks working in metal, I can't think of any off the top of my head.

At the very least you should read those threads. Then paint yourself green and get back in the shop!

But he was doing lots of interior spaces.

If you are just essentially doing the outside, then it should be OK.

Nah, I prefer to go the Mek's way (which is simply something else to say than "I'm not allowed to make such things ").
