				<description><![CDATA[ I reckon your 2 troop choices will die rapidly and you'll lose 5/6 missions with relative ease against a competent opponent. You need more scoring, and some of your assault centurions need to be converted to grav. Vindicators are also terrible. Lose the autocannon dread to upgrade those two items to a Stormraven.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ i like a vindicator its so handy av13 front on its hard to take that down and in that time they have two land raiders running in their face with a gak load of anti vehivcle and anti infantry shooting.<br /> <br /> the taqs go in a building bolstered by the master of the forge and can spend the whole game going to ground if need be for a 2+ cover save!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Wreck your own face maybe.  It'll bring sadness to your heart.<br /> <br /> I'm not entirely sure how it would win games actually.  You're anti-flier is horrendous.  Daemon princes would wreck you, as would screamers (not even screamer star).<br /> <br /> Recommendations ---<br /> <br /> An Ironclad would fit in very nice.  Grav Centurians would help.  bumping your tactical units to 10 so you can combat squad them would be helpful for objective missions.<br /> <br /> Grav Centurians are serviceable against fliers (3 twin-linked Missile Launchers is not horrible either, that's a S8 hit on a flier)<br /> <br /> One landraider is probable good enough.  Makes the Assault dudes work.  <br /> <br /> --<br /> <br /> Edit:  Cover Saves are too easy to remove.  A <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> player with one Heldrake will destroy all your scoring (no cover saves AP3 == toast for all your scoring in 2-3 turns)<br /> <br /> --<br /> <br /> Edit 2:  My Iron Hands list would be | Chapter Master, 2x10 units of Tacticals, 6xIronclads in Drop Pods]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ 2+ cover is only useful when you're being shot by things that don't ignore cover. Tau and Eldar do and they (along with daemons) are top dog right now.<br /> <br /> I'm just not seeing the strength of this list. I'm not trying to be mean I'm trying to help you. Let's go through a quick exercise against those top 3 (just common builds not power builds)<br /> <br /> Vs Daemons (Couple flying biggies, dogpile, soul grinder etc)<br /> <br /> They have things that can crunch your land raiders and vindicators while eating your Vindicators shots with universal invulnerable saves. The dog pile will be grimoired so once they Hellfire Gaze your land raider, you get tarpitted and slowly skewered by 20 khorne dogs with a 3++.<br /> <br /> Vs Eldar: Wraithknights have Strength 10 Distort weapons and there's haywire grenades running around. Except they won't need much of that because they won't have to engage you. They'll kill you troops with ease from 60" away and when your raiders get close, their bikes and serpents will turbo boost right over you and run away, and recommence shooting you to pieces.<br /> <br /> Vs Tau: Suicide fusion suits, Riptide mounted, ripple fired fusion, pirhanas with fusion, any of these things make quick work of AV14. And 3 models in each with 6 wounds and T5 will just get volume-of-fired to death. <br /> <br /> Look, a lot of your problems go away if you sub Land Raiders for Stormravens. Now you've got some defense and you can easily kick the centurions (half of which should be grav remember...) out the door with little worry of hurting them on impact. Lose the Vindy and the points you save from that and the downgrade to ravens gets you more scoring, which solves your other problem. THEN I think it's decent.<br /> <br /> That's just my .02, if your meta isn't super competitive, then by all means take this as is and have a ball.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Daemon Prince flies up, you can't hit the thing, then it lands and blows up a Land Raider, then eats your assault dudes afterward.  You have almost no recourse to the guy.  Especially if Fateweaver's not on the board and you can't ground the guy.<br /> <br /> --<br /> <br /> Edit:  In your example, you just focused your entire army on one Daemon Prince.  Keep in mind that your Assaulty dudes hit on 5's in close combat and the Daemon prince also goes first.  He can also smash to insta-gib guys (3 attacks, 2 hits, 2-dead guys, no invul save).<br /> <br /> In a 1500 list, you could potentially face 2 of these bad-boys against a Daemon player.<br /> <br /> Your Land Raider Crusaders are getting between 6-12 S4 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> shots hitting on 6's.  That's 4 S4 hits wounding on 5's and the prince has a 3+ save.  He doesn't care.  He's going to land and eat a Land Raider.<br /> <br /> You're opponent will have other things to attack your dudes with too... so ya, not going to end well for you in most situations against <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> or Daemons.<br /> <br /> You'll matchup decently against Orks.<br /> <br /> --<br /> <br /> Sorry for the Harsh criticism, but the list isn't as competitive as you'd think.  I also think it'd be fun to play against, no need to worry about "not making friends"]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Daemon Prince gets 2-3 S10 smash hits that re-roll to pen and get +1 on the damage chart (on average).<br /> <br /> Soulgrinders don't get to smash, so they don't get to re-roll to for a 5-6.<br /> <br /> To be honest, I'd probably fly the princes directly at your Master of the Forge and Troops, because once those are dead, you almost can't win (unless it's killpoints).<br /> <br /> ==<br /> <br /> I've had my Daemon Prince kill a Landraider most of the time.  Usually you get two pens and an explodes.  With the re-roll, that's 55% to get the exploads result.]]></description>

Maybe it works good for your local meta??? I'll run the exact stats for you.  Edit:  Math says 1/3rd of the time, not factoring in immobalized, weapon destroyed, or stunned results. ]]></description>

The range is too short to really scare tau or eldar. <br /> <br /> I think the raven idea is viable but personally i hate them (dont like the model) but you <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(186);'>def</span> need something to knock down air. The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> chicken will eat everything unless you can knock it down fast. <br /> <br /> I love running land raiders but necons and anything that can move melta really fast (tau) or lance (eldar) will make short work of them. <br /> <br /> Dont play against many deamons so I cant really say on that case. <br /> <br /> At any rate, you NEED <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(805);'>AA</span> fire from somewhere. There's no other reason I can think of for you to be so adamantly and vocally against any suggestion or comment being made.<br /> <br /> The majority (100% it seems, outside of yourself) agree .. this list will suffer to a great number of armies.  I can think of a number of ways to take it down at 1500 points by T3/T4, with another Marine army even.<br /> <br /> I think you're putting too much faith in a couple of small things (Iron hands and 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span>'s specifically)<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Yeah the Demon Prince can definitely stomp your face.  Even if he's not flying up and eating your land raider.<br /> <br /> Give him a couple choice items, grab ML3.  Get some decent rolls on your powers and you're looking at a 4 wound Heldrake that can ALSO smash you with AP2 in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>.<br /> <br /> So, yeah...  I mean everything is always a gamble, that Stormraven idea probably works wonders, but it could also get shot down.  Vindicators are great for pieplate chuckin but then the dice gods can hate you.<br /> <br /> The point of this sub forum is to debate your list so, points at least for defending your initial viewpoint, but minus them back for not being open to criticism.<br /> <br /> edit:  Honestly though why are you running Iron Hands tactics but not stocking up on more Omnissiah rolls?  I'd build me a solid tank line, park the Techs back there and then like someone else said, drop pod rage later on to keep the heat off and place scoring units.  ]]></description>
