				<description><![CDATA[ Hey guys, need help refining my army list. There's a 1k tourny coming up in a week or so, I wanna do fairly well but upmost mainly have fun. I don't know mainly what i'll be facing however I know there is at least 1 VERY competitive Nid player and a fair few camping cowards (Tau) players. I have 2 lists set up so far, not sure what to run. Can you guys rate each one, and give comments on how to improve them?<br /> <br /> List 1<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span><br /> Ordo Malleus Inquisitor W/ 3 servo skulls (74 points)<br /> <br /> Troops<br /> Terminator squad W/ Brotherhood banner, 3 halberds, psycannon, storm bolters and psyammo (270 points)<br /> Terminator squad W/ 3 halberds, psilencer, storm bolters (215 points)<br /> <br /> Fast attack<br /> Stormraven W/ Hurricane bolters, psybolt ammo, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> assault cannons, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> multi meltas (255 points)<br /> <br /> Heavy support<br /> Dreadknight W/ Heavy incinerator, doomfist and greatsword (185 points)<br /> <br /> 999 total.<br /> <br /> List 2<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span><br /> Grand master W/ Daemonhammer (180 points)<br /> <br /> Troops<br /> Strike squad W/ Incinerator, psycannon, storm bolters, 6 halberds, 1 force sword (305 points)<br /> Terminators W/ Brotherhood banner, Daemonhammer, 4 halberds, psycannon (330 points)<br /> <br /> Heavy support<br /> Dreadknight W/ Heavy incinerator, doomfist and greatsword (185 points)<br /> <br /> 1000 total.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I personally like list 1. The storm raven adds a ton of manovreability and vehicle popping power. Due to the nature of the army being elitist I don't think that you would hold up that well against the nids but <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(71);'>imho</span> I like purifiers against hordes to turn their numbers against them and then mop up. Against the nids I wouldn't deep strike anything either. Let them come to you and pick them off with your storm bolters before mopping up in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>.<br /> <br /> Shouldn't have much trouble against the tau though except for your stormraven. Interceptor fire will wreak that if your not careful.]]></description>

Interceptor fire will wreak that if your not careful.</div></blockquote><br /> <br /> Yeah that's why I included the psilencer with the termies, try to hammer out as much firepower before anything gets close, and with the brotherhood banner, all force weapons in that unit will be instakilling everything. Having the heavy incinerator will help against any advancing hordes. <br /> <br /> Yeah i've learnt that the hard way before with a dakkajet, failed all 3 jinx saves and got destroyed soon as it came in :/ what is the range of interceptor fire? Is it just the range of the model with the special rule? ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I would drop the psilencer from the terminators, the low strength and no <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>ap</span> isnt something to rely on. <br /> <br /> Psybolt ammo should only be taken if they are a 10 man squad.<br /> <br /> Strike squads are not, I repeat not, a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> unit. They should not have any upgraded <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> weapons other than a halberd on the Justicar or a hammer in case of smashing. Speaking of hammers...<br /> <br /> The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(524);'>GM</span> should have a sword for the 3++ in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>, makes a good beatstick.]]></description>

Same with my grand master, cus he is a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(524);'>GM</span>/inquisitor conversion, he is built with a daemonhammer and not a sword :/]]></description>

I have some of the older pewter models as well and proxy, though not frowned upon here, bothers me. <br /> <br /> Also I LOVE how the psilencer looks on the terminators. I'm just sad that it isn't that good. ]]></description>
