Having said that, the painting looks fine, if a little thick. You should take a look through this article for some photography tips. Most people new to the HHHobby have a hard time with photographing their miniatures, and this article was very helpful to me.

I was a little worried about how it'd look. There was a slight mishap and I had to green stuff it. Also a little worried on how the scythe turned out.

Just wondering but how did the basing turn out? I'm asking because this is the first army I've taken the time to really paint up. As a new painter you've got a lot to learn but we've all been there. My biggest suggestion would be to look at a color wheel.

The models colors are all over the place. Which is pretty typical of new painters. Not counting black, white, and metallics. You have 5 colors on the model.

You want 3. 4 can be done but will never catch the eye like 3, and even 2 or 1 (with lots of shades) can also look good. But the eye loves 3 colors. That is why "tabletop" quality is based on a minimum of 3 colors.

So I would suggest looking at a color wheel. Hit youtube for the 1,000's of painting tutorials. Not just Necron ones I've found useful tricks watching a warmachine paiting tutorial and then applying it to space marines, etc.

No matter what though don't get discouraged you can only get better as long as you keep trying, and remember PAINTED MODELS ARE LUCKIER!
