So, what are the best configurations for an autarch on a bike for (a) mech list using regular codex (b) mech wraith list using iyanden book?

to clarify..(a) will probably include 2 x 10 dire avengers in a serpent and 9 x bikes with a farseer on bike (b) will probably include 3 x 5 wraithguard in serpents (2 squads with d-scythes)..plus various supporting units

Autarch on jetbike, best build?

It really depends if you want em in a squad or solo.

Your standard mantle build goes like this
-Bike, banshee mask, laser lance, fusion gun, mantle of the laughing god.
This is good in just about any army. If you want you can take the shard of anaris. Now if you want the autarch in a squad, your better off with this
-Bike, banshee mask, fusion gun, scorpion chainsword(replaceable CC weapon) and soulshirve/shard of anaris. Each of the cool weapons has merit, so its more personal taste.
