				<description><![CDATA[ I'm not exactly a pro.  Still building my first Orks, but here are my 2 cents.<br /> <br /> First, generally, you need 2 troop choices.  I suggest a squad of boys.<br /> <br /> <br /> Deff Dread has BS 2 so I would go skorcha instead.  This has the added benefit of raising his target priority for your opponent.  Any shots at the DD rather than the Kans are good for you.  <br /> <br /> Grotzookas are great, but they are short range, and expensive.  So consider Big Shootas instead.  As a slow moving unit, with BS 3, Kans can put a lot of fire into the enemy as you close. <br /> <br /> 2 KK with Big Shootas<br /> 3 KK with 1 Big Shoota, 2 Grotzookas <br /> <br /> That frees up 105 points for <br /> 16 Shoota Boys<br /> or 10 Shoota Boys in a Trukk with Reinforced Ram<br /> and a BP for your Big Mek<br /> <br /> Arrange like this:<br /> <br /> <textarea name="code" class="java" cols="60" rows="10">BS    BS    DD      BS 
     Boys   BM   GZ     GZ  </textarea><br /> With your Big Mek in the same squad as your boys, and just a bit behind them (echelon formation) for wound allocation.<br /> <br /> That way your cheaper BS Kans take most of the fire.<br /> <br /> If you would rather go the Trukk route, it complicates your strategy quite a bit.  Because your Trukk only has AV 10 on the front, and you don't really have enough boys to do much.  <br />  <br /> Definitely stick with KFF not Shockk attack gun.  <br /> <br /> <u>On your Second List</u><br /> Warboss on Bike doesn't make deffcoptas troops, so you still need one more troop option.<br /> <br /> If you drop one of your groups of deffcoptas, and substitute a squad of 4 Warbikers, and a BP for your Warboss, you have 2 troop options.  <br /> <br /> Your biggest challenge with this list is survivability.  If you can make it into close combat, you might be ok, but you will have a real problem making it that far.  You will have to make sure that for your opponents first turn they don't have line of sight on any of the bikes <br /> <br /> <u>Might I suggest an alternate low model count 500 Point Ork list.</u><br /> This relies on AV to keep you protected like your Kan list, but this time in the form of much faster, much tougher Battle Wagons.<br /> <br /> 1 Warboss ('Eavy armour, Big choppa, Bosspole, Cybork body)<br /> 10 Shoota Boyz (1 with a Big Shoota)<br /> in a Battle Wagon w/ Deff rolla and Big Shoota<br /> <br /> 3 MegaNobz (Troops Because of Warboss)<br /> in a Battle Wagon w/ Deff rolla and Big Shoota<br /> <br /> 16 Models to the 9 in your original Kan list, or 10 in your Bike list.  ]]></description>

Any <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span>, Tau, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span>, Necron, Eldar army easily comes equipened to blow up armour. At low point tournys you have to abuse what your army is good at and exploit it. Orks can take massive amount of bodies for cheap. Here you have a decent amount of boys that are a threat in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> that potentially have a 12in move a turn yuo should be in your enemies face by turn3. Another route to this list is running 2 squads of 20 boys and dropping the Nob and the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(107);'>PK</span> on mek and nob.  This way once one unit is half dead you can change units to the second squad. Mind you your Kannons are just destroying their army. You have T7 gretchin in the back field letting the kannons take all the saves.<br /> <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ It depends, are you after a casual list, a competitive one, or a VAAC type competitive?<br /> <br /> The further towards victory at any cost you go, the more boyz you'll be taking. The further towards casual, the more walkers.<br /> <br /> Neither of your suggested lists have the required two troop choices. Also keep in mind that deff dreads are not scoring, even as troops, except in the Forgeworld Dread Mob list via a warlord trait]]></description>

You only need one troop choice for the 500 point match. equipment is not locked onto characters and can be changed every new week of rounds. My bad. 				<description><![CDATA[ I feel your love for kans, but you'll see that they are not super tough and go down pretty quick to focused fire. Even if you only need one troop choice i wouldn't count on the dread to do all the lifting. If i were playing you and that was your only troop, as well as a big killy unit it would be the first thing i'd go for. I'd start with your Big Mek and a group or two of shoota boys. and then fill in whatever you want for whats left. ]]></description>

Not only does the weapon have to hit a kan or dread, it also has to glance or pen, of it does pen it has to do something, and to top it off you get a 5 up cover. Just keep the deff in front of the big Mek so they can't draw <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LoS</span> and you're golden!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I think he's saying "you don't have enough force to multiply at 500pts"<br /> <br /> The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span> gets its value by adding defense to either an enormous quantity of boyz or a smaller one of vehicles.<br /> <br /> 6th Edition hates assaults and it especially hates dreads. Our deff dreads are pure garbage ~ and this is coming from a real dreadhead ~ and our Kans are decent but nothing special.<br /> <br /> Since gear isn't locked in, I'd recommend my above list sans the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span>, using those points for either more boyz, a unit of Gretchin, or as most of a unit of Kannons]]></description>
