				<description><![CDATA[ Hello again!<br /> <br /> Here is another Iron Hands list!  Seems like these guys are gonna make Mech Marines popular again!  I see lots of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(445);'>IH</span> lists on here lately...<br /> <br /> HQ1 Chapter Master in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(332);'>TDA</span>, w/ Shield Eternal, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>TH</span>, sprinkles, digiweps.<br /> <br /> HQ2 Captain in Artificer w/ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(486);'>PW</span>, P. Sword.<br /> &gt; Honor Guard, 3 guys, 1 Champ, all P. Swords, and Bolters<br /> <br /> &gt; Techmarine w/ Bolter and Harness.<br /> <br /> T1 Tactical, 10 guys, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> w/ flakk, Plasma Gun.  Sarge- Combi <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(166);'>plas</span>, chainsword, teleport homer<br /> &gt; Rhino<br /> <br /> T2 Tactical, Same as above<br /> &gt; Rhino<br /> <br /> E1 Venerable w/ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> Las, fist & flamer<br /> &gt; Drop Pod<br /> <br /> E2 Venerable w/ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> Autocannons<br /> &gt; Drop Pod<br /> <br /> E3 Terminator Squad, 5 guys, assault cannon, chainfist, sprinkles<br /> <br /> H1 Predator w/ Triple Las<br /> <br /> H2 Whirlwind<br /> <br /> H3 Stalker<br /> <br /> Aegis w/ Quad Gun, or Icarus ( whichever turns out to be more kick butt against flyers!)<br /> <br /> The idea is to have the Captain and the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(337);'>HG</span> hang out behind the Aegis line with the two weaker tanks and the Techmarine.  Everything else is forward distraction, and scoring.  I like the non <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LoS</span> Whirlwind, he can maybe scoot around and let the Pred hang out with the Techmarine?  I know <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(420);'>TFC</span> nets me another Techie but I think with all those <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(681);'>IWND</span> rolls, one Techie fixing stuff on a 3+ should be good enough.  What I could do additionally is Drop Pod a Tactical Squad, have the Autocannon Dread out on turn 1, and use the extra points to grab another Techie.  Would have to shave off a few points elsewhere to get exactly 2k but it could be done.<br /> <br /> What do you guys think?  More Techies?  Heavier Tanks?  Nix the Termies and run the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(746);'>CM</span> with the Honor Guard and Captain?  Maybe throw in some Scouts instead?  Get a Locator Beacon on for the DPA on turn 1? <br /> <br /> I don't know for sure.  I only own like 1000pts of this list yet, kinda hoping for feedback before I commit the cash.  I have the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(746);'>CM</span> coming from France, eventually and I already kitbashed a Captain, so they are really kind of interchangeable, although it disturbs me to not have some kind of dedicated assault units...]]></description>

No.<br /> <br /> I'll start from the top:<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(332);'>TDA</span> is silly when you get a better invul from SE. Take Artificier. I know, I know, you want to deep strike him with the termies. We'll get to that.<br /> <br /> The tactical squad is all types of wrong. Don't ever take an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> with flakk. You aren't Dark Angels, you have viable fliers and non-flier <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(805);'>AA</span> if you want to go that way. Also, you won't need the teleport homer (Because we're gonna get rid of those terminators). As a general note, your tactical marines shouldn't be aggressive enough to ever effectively deploy a teleport homer unless you're playing a drop pod list or something or you have a ton of them.<br /> <br /> Ironclads &gt; Venerable. You're podding in, so Meltas are better in close quarters than lascannons and autocannons. AV13 is also critical.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>TH</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span> termies still have their applications; depending on the list. But tactical terminators certainly do not.<br /> <br /> Storm Raven &gt; Predator+Whirlwind<br /> <br /> Look, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(445);'>IH</span> can be strong, but you need to really optimize your advantages in this xenos-dominated meta.<br /> <br /> Tacticals, Ironclads, Stormravens, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(420);'>TFCs</span>. Build around those.]]></description>
