Second dreadknight WiP C&C welcome.

So this summer I converted my first dreadknight, a few of you may remember it and it can be seen here
http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/535783.page

Well I finally got off my butt and decided to give him a buddy because it's probably my favorite model I own and has been since I converted it. I wanted it to be similar but different than the first, and when I get a 3rd it will be basically the same thing but again slightly different. So without further ado here is "captain dreadknight"

Spoiler:

Nicely done, I really like the pose on your original build but the relaxed stance you have here is nice as well. It's like he's pauses mid battle just to take stock of his surroundings and find a decent enemy for smiting! I know how hard it is to repose the Dreadknight kits but you're doing an awesome job. Really like the idea of using the bit from the drop pod.

Thanks, and that's exactly how I imagined his pose! He's just defeated an enemy and is now surveying for his next victim!

Yah I guess the drop pod bit is gonna be my "thing" thank you ironman;p I got a lot of good reviews on it the first time too so it'll be making appearances in all 3.

Yah I couldn't believe how tough it was to do certain things with this kit. It's kind of the reason this ones arms aren't cut and reposed at the elbow like the first. Both legs have been reposed though.

The first one I put a lot more time into just figuring out how to convert it and make dynamic poses with the kit. It's elbows, knees, and waist were all reposed somehow. This one only has the legs and waist. The third one I will probably go bananas again and try to figure out how to make it wielding a sword two handed in a kneeling position just to really push my modelling skill haha.
