Crowe cannot join a unit so will hoof around the battle field unless you give him a ride. One option is to man an ADL with Crowe.
Rhinos often give first blood since they are not hard to pop.

You can hide him behind a ruin without LoS but where is the fun in that??

As for Purifier Squads I would add a hammer in there and max the Psycannons ..With Cleansing Flame there is no need to add Incinerators IMO ..

Anyway, it's going to be tough with a Crowe list at these points .. I would run something like this :

Hq:
Crowe 150

Troops:
6x Purifiers w/ 2x Psycannons + 3x NFH ( Justicar included ) + 1x NDH in a Razorback w/ Psybolts 225
6x Purifiers w/ 2x Psycannons + 3x NFH ( Justicar included ) + 1x NDH in a Razorback w/ Psybolts 225

Fast Atk:
Stormraven w/ TL Assault Cannon + TL MM + Hurricane Bolters + Psybolts 255 (Crowe and Dreadnaugt riding here)

Heavy Support:
Dreadnaught w/ Nemesis Doom Fist with built in Heavy Flamer + TL Heavy Flamer + Psyflames 130

The above are at 985 points so you can add Dozers or Master-Crafts/Digital Weapons here and there .. But keep in mind that this fits my playstyle (taking the battle to the enemy) and that it's not that competitive .. You can try a Coteaz list if you would like something more competitive IMO ..
