				<description><![CDATA[ Hello, this is my first ever list for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span>, and I want to know if it is competitive. I don't really like <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>, so I am trying to stick with shooting units. I have Chosen, but I don't know whether or not to field them. My friend plays Orks, so I would like a list to play against them. If you want to go all nurgle on your army, Use Typhus as your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>, use (3) squads of plague marines, 7 marines per squad for fluffiness. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(84);'>lol</span> Keep the baledrakes, but try to squeeze in a forgefiend and/or a Vindicator for awesome shooting. ]]></description>

I recommend three obliterators for heavy support. Take mark of nurgle on them as well, to avoid instant death.  Use three as separate units so that they can each shoot at their own targets and choose what weapons to use each round.  Not sure how you are equipping your plague units, but I would probably go plasma, plasma, melt, flamer. Each x2 per squad of course.  You will need to drop some units to afford the obliterators, but you can probably go with a unit of 10 and three units of 7 or 8, however the points work out.<br /> <br /> The obits can threaten at a distance while your plague marines footslog into range. They also have high strength, low <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span> weapons to provide anti-vehicle firepower.<br /> <br /> The heldrakes will be great against ork mobs.<br /> <br /> Good luck!<br /> -Aeglos<br /> <br /> Also, VoLW probably not useful against orks on plague marines. They don't get the extra attack since you are not facing marines, and since they are fearless, the leadership boost isn't really buying you anything.  Save the points and spend on some weapons or a gift of mutation or something.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ It can work. Get the oblits as stated, share out the rest in 5 squads of 7 each (nice fluff as 7 is nurgles sacred number) don't forget to get 2 special weapons in each team. Mix mostly plasma with a few meltas for anti armor and maybe even a pair of flamers for hordes. <br /> <br /> If your opponent has enough anti air to take down your heldrakes early it will be a slog for you though.]]></description>

Vector strike is str7, so should be effective against their armor 10.  However, you will be at a disadvantage because you need to overfly them to hit, whereas they can hit you at range.  You may actually be better off going 2nd if you win the roll-off, as you have a better chance (but not guaranteed by the dice gods!) of coming onto the board 2nd from reserves, then vector strike on the initial fly-over before they can shoot you.  I suggest using your Daemonforge ability at that time, it allows you to re-roll any failed armor penetration attempts that round, with a 16% chance of losing a hull point yourself.  If you get close enough to vector strike, make the most of it!  If you can remove his jets, your heldrakes will roast the rest of his army at leisure.<br /> <br /> Unless you have an objective based game and luckily come up with a skyfire nexus, you will have a hard time hitting the dakkajets with your ground troops.  Your obliterator assault-cannons are probably your best bet for your ground troops, with 4x <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>Str</span> 6 shots at 24" range.  If you can get 2-3 oblits firing on a single dakkajet, you have a good chance of rolling at least one snap-shot 6 and hitting.  <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(9);'>AV</span> is 10, so you will glance or pentrate 50% of the time on anything that does hit from Str6 weapons.<br /> <br /> -Aeglos]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Wow, that's a lot of plague marines! Fun list, but lacking in anti armour. I agree about removing some <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(634);'>PMs</span>, adding special weapons and trying to squeeze in Obliterators. Assault cannons and heavy flamers work wonders against Orks. <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> Also, I like terminators, but for you Lord I think a bike is better against Orks. T6 will mean even his warboss cannot instakill you and most characters you will face have PowerKlaws, meaning that your 2+ is ignored anyway. Also, a biker lord with power weapon has one more attack in close combat than a terminator lord (as he has a bolt pistol too) which swings the balance for me.]]></description>

And <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(634);'>PM</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> is also taken IN ADDITION to normal armour saves all the time against shootas and big shootas which will happen a lot of times every gameurn. So overall I think <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(634);'>PM</span> with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> are FAR more survivable than Thousand sons and the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> is better than the 4++. But sure, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(130);'>TS</span> have their uses, just not against Orks.]]></description>
