cockpit glass windows - to paint or not to paint?

So a long time ago I painted the insides of rhinos etc etc... now I glue the doors shut and just make the outside look nice. I am currently building a Storm Raven and wondering what to do with the window-glass?

Do most of you paint it or leave it clear?

If you decide to leave it clear, dip it in Future Floor Polish, let it dry on a paper towel, covered by a dixie cup. The result is a much clearer looking canopy that looks like glass an not plastic. Alternatively, putting some ink in with the future will allow you to tint the glass like modern canopies.

I like to use Elmer's white glue to attach canopies.

cockpit glass windows - to paint or not to paint?

I would leave it unpainted if there is a pilot in the cockpit, otherwise I would paint it on the inside, using a blue-to-white glass pattern. Either way the Future Klear trick is a good one used by aeromodellers.
