				<description><![CDATA[ <br /> Hi, <br /> <br /> I'm completely new to the game and to Tyranids. I want to create a single 1500 point army for all comers. <br /> I'm not looking to play in pro tournaments or anything, just fun with friends but I do still want to win. <br /> The list needs to stand up to all armies except for Orks and Tyranids.<br /> <br /> Also remember the below list is based on the new codex that has just been released today (at least in my region).<br /> <br /> <br /> <b><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span></b><br /> - Hive Tyrant (165 pts) + twinlinked devourer (15 pts) + Wings (35pts) + electroshock grubs (10pts)  = 225 pts<br /> - Swarmlord = 285pts<br /> <br /> <b>Troops</b><br /> - 30 x Termagants (flesh borers) = 120pts<br /> - 1x Tervigon (195pts)  + Toxin sacs (10pts) + Adrenaline Glands (15pts) = 220pts<br /> <br /> <b>Elites</b><br /> - 3x Hive Gaurd (55pts) = 165pts<br /> <br /> <b>Heavy Support</b><br /> - 3x Biovore (40pts) = 120pts<br /> - 1 x Tyranofex (175pts) <br /> - 1 x Tyranofex (175pts) ]]></description>

Three things off the bat -<br /> <br /> I would go with either the Swarmlord + Guard + Prime (for LookOutSir and protection) OR a walkrant/flyrant, but not both. The swarmlord really shines when he has protection from some guards and a prime to make sure he stays alive long enough to reach the other side of the field. After that, I would take your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(337);'>HG</span> to 2 and maybe fit 1 venomthrope in for the 6" shrouded aura. As for the heavy support slots, consider an Exocrine over one of those tyrannofex'. The double TFex torrent + stinger salvo is nice, but you might want to fit in some ranged AP2 (and str7 assault 6 at that!). I think two torrent weps on a 2+ might be overkill for infantry, and won't help eliminate the tougher things (centurions come to mind) that an AP2 weapon would.<br /> <br /> Nontheless, I would give your list a shot and see how it goes! I really do like the 2x 175 torrent flamer, but if you run into a lot of armor or a lot of low-save units, you might have some trouble making the wounds stick. <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ As a more advanced player of nids heres some tips, <br /> <br /> Swarmlord is amazingly cool sounding, but hes bad, 4 wounds only toughness 6 and getting him and all the guards your going to have to invest points in across the table is just giving the enemy a unit to tarpit, throws tons of crap units at and ignore.<br /> <br /> The tyrnnofex doesnt hit very well with it shots and whatever you where going to use it for can be replaced with Zoanthropes and or Smashing with anyone of your monsterous creatures.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Thanks for the feedback all, it is very much appreciated.<br /> While I do still think the Swarmlord sounds very cool as soon as I started adding up all the points for the Tyrant Guard + Prime it became very expensive very quickly to put him on the board.<br /> So taking all your feedback on board I've come up with a revised list.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span><br /> - 1 x Hive Tyrant (165 pts) + twinlinked devourer (15 pts) + Wings (35pts)  = 215 pts<br /> <br /> Troops<br /> - 30 x Termagants (4pts) = 120pts<br /> - 1 x Tervigon (195pts)  + Toxin sacs (10pts) + Adrenaline Glands (15pts) = 220pts<br /> - 20 x Hormagaunts (5pts) = 100pts<br /> <br /> Elites<br /> - 2 x Hive Guard (55pts) = 110pts<br /> - 1 x Venomthrope (45pts) = 45pts<br /> <br /> Fast Attack<br /> -1 x Hive Crone (155pts)<br /> <br /> Heavy Support<br /> - 4 x Biovore (40pts) = 160pts<br /> - 1 x Tyranofex (175pts) + Rupture cannon (30pts) =  205pts<br /> - 1 x Exocrine (170pts)  =170pts]]></description>
