Grav cannons on stormtalons

Looking at the grav cannons from the centurions gave me the idea that the stormtalon could exchange its twin-linked assault cannon for a grav cannon for 10 points, however I'm not sure if it should be a twin-linked grav cannon like the assault cannon or a gravcannon and a grav cannon and a grav amp that is used. I think the amp version would look better but with the flyer alrady being BS5 most of the time it could make it very powerful.

So is this an acceptable option, heresy or just to OP?

Terribly sorry, didn't remember that I had swapt forum so If someone could move it to proposed rules I would be very grateful

Grav cannons on stormtalons

I don't see why this would be necessary. Of all the weapons you could propose to give Storm Talons like Multi Meltas, Plasma Cannons, why Grav Cannons? Also, why Storm Talons in particular? There's no reason at all to have Grav Cannons on Storm Talons.

Grav cannons on stormtalons

On top of that because of strafing run special rule combined with ultra marines chapter tactics and 10 shots, that's insane, it would make more sense on a storm raven. But even then its not necessary.

If you are going through with it regardless, it should be 1 cannon with amp or just 1 cannon twin linked, assault cannons are 24"range so are grav cannons so there is no explanation to get 10 shots compared to 4 especially only for 10 point upgrade.

Re:Grav cannons on stormtalons

Sorry, never meant that it should get two grav cannons just a single one but it would be either twin-linked or come with a Grav amp. And yes there are a lot better weapons that could be placed under a storm talon or storm raven but I'm not realy interested in revamping the flier since I think it's awsome already I just got an idea for a converison and wanted to check out it's viability.
