I'm currently basing my Hormagaunts and Termagants, but due to the fact that they use slotta bases, my usual type of base design which generally involves a layer of cork won't really work due to the tab on the bottom of the model.

To all you people who've dealt with this issue before, would cutting the tab off of the model and gluing it to the base by its itty bitty foot create a strong enough hold to be viable? Just drill a small hole in it's foot and superglue in a brass rod.
