Just need to green stuff 2 magnets either side of the sac to hold it together at the bottom as the top fits neatly to the torso.

Yes, it is possible as the others have stated.

I did the birthing sack almost exactly as gunz did (nice job, by the way) and have to say its a very good idea to make it so the model comes off the base. I glued mine to the base, and its very challenging to get easy accesses to get the sack on and off due to the fit.
