				<description><![CDATA[ hello new to <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(3);'>40k</span> and started buying a few models i like the look of because they look awesome painted! I also would like to take these models as an army but dont know if it is plain stupid as new to the rules. <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>hq</span> big mek.<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>kff</span> <br /> troop deff dread. shoota skorcha <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>hq</span> warboss. bosspole cybork body <br /> troop 3 meganobz <br /> transport truck <br /> <br /> 2 killa kans rokkit launcha <br /> <br /> 500pts.................... the mek and warboss make the dread and meganobz troops i think. But dont know if this list would work atall i would plan to have all the walkers under the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>kff</span> and run the warboss in with the meganobz in the trukk ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Hello and welcome to <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(3);'>40k</span>.<br /> Now I'm not an Orc player but i think 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQs</span> for 500pts is a bit overkill and probably to expensive to be good. Start out by looking at other peoples lists here and see how they build their armies and scale it down to your level.<br /> Start simple and build up is usually a good way to start!<br /> Usually a solid starter list for low points follow the standard <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(187);'>FOC</span> with 1HQ 2Troops and mix in one or two Fast/Heavy. What you are after is synergy with units that complement each other. Think of how you want to play your games. Fast lists that can dictate range and game pace, melee oriented that get up in the opponents face or shooty armies.<br /> It's always a good idea to take a moment to think and plan, the result is usually more fun and better in my opinion!<br /> <br /> Happy wargaming!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Thankyou for your replies.  I wanted a convoy/last stand theme kind of army minimal models but hard hitting . I dont like the idea of having tons of boyz on the table and having to paint them.I do like vehicles and walkers. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Unfortunately for you orks arent the best Elite heavy army out there, They are definitaly a Horde army, The Problem with your list is you have 1 scoring unit, and alot of walkers. Now in a 500 pt game not many people are bringing anti tank weaponry, but even one lascannon or melta will make those walkers cry. I as well love the deff dread and killa kan models and they work fairly decent for me, But in this edition they just die way too fast, can never get them into <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>cc</span> or get them close enough to fire there guns. <br /> <br /> One of my favourite low point lists is 40 boys (2 sqauds of 20) with shootas and big shootas with a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span> Mek and 5 Lootas. but as you said you dont want a heavy boy list. <br /> <br /> The good thing about your list is you have quite a bit of targets, the trukk being the big one. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>Id</span> put the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(163);'>KFF</span> with the warboss and nobs in the trukk and surround it with your deff dread and kans, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>Id</span> maybe drop the rokkits and take flamers just so you can run every turn and not try and shoot and if they make it close enough can toast some things. Its not the worst list ive ever seen but it could be fun.<br /> <br /> Remember it isnt always about winning the game, if you like your army and the way it looks and have fun doing it, all the power to you.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ If you like vehicles and want a convoy list, look to get some battlewagons. They are one of the best tanks out there. Make sure to get the Deff rolla too. I tend to play a smaller elite force for my orks at 2000. In fact, my 2000 point list only includes 40 boyz, but it has 3 battlewagons, a looted wagon, 6 bikes, a dakkajet and 2 deffkoptas.<br /> <br /> So your theme is still out there. If you like the walkers I would also check out the mech army rules from the imperial armor books. You could take an all walker army.]]></description>
