I have some citidel highlighting brushes but they seem a bit thick. I'm looking for something real fine so I can highlight with the edge of the bristles.

A good, pointy, kolinsky sable brush, steady hand, not too much colour on it and a good dilution... and much, much practice.

Edit:
as to what brushes get that are better than Citadel ones... Size 1 is the smallest brush I ever use. Most of my models are painted using size 2 and 4 brushes.
