				<description><![CDATA[ So Ive been playing Necrons until now but decided to change things up and try Chaos Marines - So this is my first attempt at a 500 pt list.<br /> <br /> Chaos Lord – Terminator, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(100);'>MoN</span>, Lightning Claw <br /> <br /> Chaos Terminators 95 pts <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(100);'>MoN</span>, Combi-Flamer<br /> <br /> Chaos Space Marines x5 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(100);'>MoN</span>, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(644);'>VotLW</span>, Meltagun <br /> Rhino<br /> <br /> Chaos Space Marines x5 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(100);'>MoN</span>, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(644);'>VotLW</span>, Meltagun <br /> Rhino<br /> <br /> My biggest concern with this list is a lack of dedicated anti-armour.<br /> <br /> <br /> Also if anyone has any suggestions at where to go from here.  What I should do to expand to 1000 pts etc because Im really not sure<br /> <br /> Here's my other units<br /> <br /> 3x Chaos Bikers<br /> Defiler<br /> Land Raider<br /> 10x Khorne Berzerkers<br /> 5x Raptors<br /> <br /> Any suggestions on what else I should look at getting?<br /> <br /> From what Ive picked up on the Forum Plague Marines, Obliterators and Havocs seem to be at the top of the list]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Loose the defiler, turn it into scenery and cry over how good it could have been, other things are better :(<br /> <br /> I would swap the terminators out for take 3 bikes with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(100);'>MoN</span>, give them 2 meltaguns.<br /> <br /> The rest is good with the models you have at hand.<br /> <br /> If you can dump the marines and take cultists, most of the game times are objective based. Also look at getting a heldrake <img src="/s/i/a/baf5f2e54c6b17d5c5d39aecadfa1272.gif" border="0"> But thats for later purchases]]></description>

No matter what <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> army you make, you generally want to fill out all 3 fast attack slots.<br /> <br /> Dark Vengeance is a good place to start.<br /> <br /> a 500 point nurgle list <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>id</span> take<br /> <br /> Chaos Lord- Mark of Nurgle, brand of skalathrax<br /> Helbrute<br /> 10 cultists-shotgun, flamer<br /> 10 cultists-heavy stubber, 9 autoguns<br /> 7 Plague Marines, rhino, 1 plasma gun (lord goes here)<br /> <br /> You can get all that with just the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(437);'>DV</span> kit and a kit of plague marines, and it will all be what you see is what you get, except for the plasma pistol on the lord. <br /> <br /> a 1000 point nurgle list <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>id</span> take (this means you're more serious about this army, we're not going to add, but change the list)<br /> <br /> Chaos Lord- <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(100);'>MoN</span>, bike<br /> 4 Chaos Spawn- <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(100);'>MoN</span> (Lord goes here)<br /> 7 Plague Marines- rhino, 2 plasma guns<br /> 7 Plague Marines- rhino, 2 plasma guns<br /> Heldrake- baleflamer<br /> Helbrute<br /> <br /> I wouldnt take the helbrute at any point games after 1000, thats where he really starts to lose value. For example, take nurgle <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> with a khorne CD allied detachment, or khorne <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> with a nurgle allied CD detachment<br /> <br /> If you want to make a khorne <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> list, the core of the army is 2 land raiders of zerkers and 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(630);'>FMCs</span>.<br /> <br /> For example, kharn and 9 zerkers in a raider, 10 zerkers in a raider, a Daemon Prince, and an allied detachment of a blood thirster and 10 bloodletters<br /> <br /> This core has proven itself powerful. Daemon Princes assault squads and if they dont kill them outright the zerkers join in. You dont want the zerkers to get overwatched much.<br /> <br /> A good nurgle ally would be a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(233);'>GUO</span>, plaguebearers, and plague drones. 				<description><![CDATA[ If you want a fun list, might I suggest a Khorne Lord with the Axe of Blind Fury. If you're not taking Plague Marines you'll get a lot more bang for your buck with that and there is nothing quite as fun as hewing through an entire squad of marines with your lord.]]></description>
