I am usually a GK player but for a tournament i want to try to ally with SW to improve my alphastrike (GH in pods are so much cheaper then Interceptors for an alphastrike...)
So i started reading on SW tips and classic units.
I almost always see mark of the wulfen on the GH squads, is it really so usefully? What makes it so usefully? it is still 15pts for a single guy boost who remains not so great (i might have missed something i guess)

The list i want to try is the following :
- Coteaz
- 4 * 3 Acolytes in psyback
- 3 DK with teleporter and heavy incinerator
- 2 R Priests with Jaws
- 2 * 10 GH in pods with 2 melta
- 8 WG with combi melta in pods

I would say you dont want MotW in your list. I love the equipment but it grants nothing to the alpha strike. it should be used together with banner (reroll number of attacks you get on top of hits anf wounds) for units that want to get into assault.

Compared to a power weapon for the same price only ap3 and only ever max 3 attacks. So generally worth it if you have the points and plan to be in CC. I was mistaking it for the mark that enabled rerolls on monstrous creatures and thus thought it was not worth it on a single guy.
