Re:1000 Points Adeptus Sorortias

First of all, I'm not sure if the retributors are legal, because I thought a model wasn't allowed to take both a simulacrum imperialis and a heavy bolter. Could be my mistake.

Besides that, I have a few remarks about your list (from top to bottom):
- Standard canonesses are pretty bad. Their act of faith is essentially terrible as a 25pt priest can do the same. She'd be useful if you placed them with the retributors, and let her fire the quad gun while letting the retributors take their AOF twice on Ld10. On the other hand, their act of faith (rending) isn't that impressive. You'll almost always be better off taking Celestine or Jakobus instead of a standard canoness.
- Why not take a flamer/heavy flamer combo? Dropping 5 points somewhere will give you a lot more damage output for the price you pay.
- Rhino's aren't a personal favourite of mine. Sure, they give you a speed bonus, but 50 points will get you a decent amount of extra firepower instead. Alternatively, it could give you two priests that can make a squad fearless each. I'd personally go for either squads on foot or put them in repressors if your opponent agrees to their use (Forge World, Imperial Armour vol 2).
- Why the upgrades on all vehicles? I understand why you want the dozer blades (although I personally prefer moving around difficult terrain), but the storm bolters will fire at Bs1 if you move during your turn, so it might be better to just use the spare points on something else.
- Hunter-killer missiles are almost never worth it, in my experience. If the thing even hits, you'll need to be lucky to do more than knock off a single hull point off a vehicle. If you want some more anti-vehicle power, either switch to 5 sister + priest squads in multi-melta immolators, or get an exorcist.
- Why would you want to avoid exorcists? If you dislike the model, convert your own. There's plenty of missile launchers available to stick on top of a rhino. If you dislike the rules, why? They might be somewhat random, but the things are powerful as hell if you manage to roll well. If you think they're overpowered: they're too random to really be reliable, and it's not like sisters are so overpowered they don't deserve it.
- Aegis Lines are fun, but remember: the cover and armour saves don't stack. They're survivable against AP3 or higher weapons due to the cover save, but against massed infantry fire they'll go down quickly.
- Take a seraphim squad. You don't really have any anti-horde firepower in your army besides the repressors, but the repressors also double as your anti-vehicle firepower. Stick four hand flamers in a squad, and the resulting 20 to 40 shredding hand flamer hits will make your opponent complain about how sisters are overpowered and should be nerfed (no really, that happened to me once). Drop one of the BSS, and either have them deep strike somewhere out of reach of the enemy but within flamer range, or drop them so that they can burn the enemy in your next turn. Also, as an added bonus, the turn after you unleash their shredding hand flamer combo, they'll get completely blasted to bits. "Why is this a good thing?", I can hear you say. It's because SoB armies mainly consist of units able to dish out a buttload of damage in one turn, and then aren't that useful afterwards. While your opponent is happily shooting/assaulting the now less useful seraphim, the yet-to-deal-peak-damage units will be left untouched.

In general, mech lists aren't that good anymore in 6th edition. I think you're better off with a few vehicles and a lot of small priest squads. Fair enough, sitting inside a vehicle will prevent them from being shot, but so will simply standing out of sight. Also, the three rhino's will get you two BSS with flamer/heavy flamer combo. Throw in two priests, and you have two hard to get rid of units at only 100 points each.

1000 Points Adeptus Sorortias

You are absolutely right about the retributors, that was my bad, and putting the cannoness with them on the gun was indeed the plan with that.

I had never really considered the F/HF combo, so I will be looking at that.

I personally refuse to use FW units, not because I don't like them or anything, simply because they should be allowed in standard 40k games now, seeing as GW bought FW, it's just something that frustrates me, and that's how I deal with it. And I will look at footslogging, I've never been a fan of it, but what the hell.

The vehicle upgrades are kinda after thoughts, left over points, but your right about the SB, forgot about them having to snap fire with one after moving 6", so those are gone entirely, and the HK missile, I've never used one before, wanted to see how effective it is, and again, left over points.

I avoid the exorcists because they are auto include almost. They are not OP, not at all, but when weighed against the other options, they certainly have that appearance. I feel they are over played and I see them so much in other sister armies, they just kinda become bland and boring.

I really took the Aegis line for the quad gun, AA fire power, but if you have an alternative that you like for that more I'm willing to see what you do.

And the Seraphim, I didn't include them cause I felt the BSS with the Rets would be ample anti infantry, and I was lacking anti armor, between Seraphim and Dominions, I feel the dominions are better for anti armor and I grabbed them up instead. I'll see how this list does after a couple tweaks and if they turn out to be inadequate, I'll grab the Seraphim.

I admit, mech is certainly taken a beat stick in 6th, but I prefer 10 woman squads of Battle sisters, makes them more resilient, harder to knock out, bur that means I only got 3 troops, and they can't be everywhere at once, so I use the rhinos as battle taxi's, get them where they need to be, and then use them as mobile terrain afterwords, which works wonderfully. So sadly, my rhinos are used as stop gaps to delay units from getting to the girls standing on the objective behind it.

So, with your input, my new list.

HQ:
Cannoness -65

HS:
Retributors X5 ladies -60
X4 HB -40

Fort:
ADL -50
QG -50

Troops:
BSS X5 ladies -60
Flamer -5
HF -10
Immolator -60
Priest -25
Eviscerator -30

BSS X5 ladies -60
Flamer -5
HF -10
Immolator -60
Priest -25
Eviscerator -30

BSS X5 ladies -60
Flamer -5
HF -10
Immolator -60
Priest -25
Eviscerator -30

FA:
Dominions X5 ladies -65
X4 melta guns -40
Immolator w/ TL MM -60

1000 points even, better, or did I make it worse?

Re:1000 Points Adeptus Sorortias

If you're going to use the superior with the repressors, maybe it's a good idea to give the superior a combi-flamer? It will give you some extra damage in overwatch should they get charged. After all, you'll have 265 points (including your warlord) standing there.

Maybe a thing worth considering is the choice of immolators versus rhino's for the BSS. The immolator has a twin-linked heavy flamer, but the standard rhino has two fire points, which will give you a flamer, heavy flamer and storm bolter shooting, with two bolter shots and two storm bolter shots at longer range. Since they have an identical statline, it might be worth considering if the extra 20 points are worth it.

Also, I doubt giving all the priests eviscerators is worth the points. The damage they deal is impressive, but against large infantry units the priest can still only kill two models with his attacks, if he even manages to make it to his initiative step. Eviscerators are awesome against vehicles, but you're unlikely to get all three of them in combat against a vehicle. I'd personally take a single eviscerator priest, and place him in the middle vehicle so that the others can escort him to his destination. It'll make you lose some cc power, but 5 sister squads aren't really meant for combat, and it would free up another 60 points.

Both the immolators and the eviscerators will increase the damage dealt with a unit, but my approach will save you a total of 120 points, which is more than a F/HF sister squad in a rhino. It's a quality or quantity choice, I suppose.

Re:1000 Points Adeptus Sorortias

Considering your strategy, it is sound but keep the following in mind:
- Your dominion melta squad, combined with the repressors behind the aegis, is all the anti-armour you have. Take care not to needlessly expose them.
- The moment a flyer appears on the board, keep shooting at it with the quad gun until it is gone.
- Rhino's and immolators are great troop taxis, but they're also great opportunities for your opponent to claim first blood.
- It can be very tempting to fire away with the repressors, but target priority is vital for their effectiveness.

All in all, the rhino swarm strategy is a good strategy, as it will allow your troops to get where they're supposed to be while the rhino's prevent them from getting shot at. I do think (but that goes for nearly all mech armies) that it'll do terrific in scenarios where you need to claim objectives, but less so in kill point scenarios.
