My roommate introduced me to the both the tabletop and the THQ game back in 2006, and I was immediately hooked. I took up playing Guard and began with a battleforce box and a 2nd hand Guard Codex. I built up my army somewhat, and played for about a year and a half, but then 'Life' got in the way (doesn't it always?!?), and I had to shelve the game until now. A few months ago I began getting back into the game, getting my stuff out of boxes, painting models, reading the codex/rulebook/forums/you get the picture. Dakka always seemed to have some of the most helpful information as far as learning more about the game, and I figured I might as well join and be a part of it. So, for all intensive purposes, I'm a noob who plays Guard and is glad to be here! Look forward to learning what i can, meeting other players, and being back in the 40k community again.

Gamer Utopia over in Rogers is decent. 3 tables, one is the modular Citedale Terrain, I painted it as an ash waste. Not a lot of terrain so bring some if you're palying there. Any place to play where you are at?

Dakka is a treasure trove for ideas and advice, I only recently joined too after a long lurking period and absolutely love the ideas I get. LOL. I don't mind traveling. I'm a pilot, so here to Bentonville/Rogers isn't too much of a hike for me. There's absolutely nothing for gaming here in Arkadelphia, with the exception of a couple of friends who play. We're planning a couple of pick-up games within the next couple of weeks at my place. Little rock has Game Goblins, but they're mostly a card shop with a couple of 40k players. I also have other friends that play 40k in Texarkana (about an hour drive south of here), and there's a small game shop there called Excalibur Games.
