The 4 st6 ap4 large blast heavy mortars and the 29 st5 punisher shots can be prescienced against troops, the two tank hunting <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>dev</span> squads against mech and flyers. If a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>dev</span> squad has taken a few casualties then the pred can be prescienced instead.<br /> The assault squads drop turn1 to flame units in cover. The tacticals drop later to objective capture.<br /> Chimeras with plasma gunners go against <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>meq</span>, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(652);'>teq</span>, or horde. Only costing 107pts each so not too fussed if these are focused on.<br /> Everyone sitting behind an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(637);'>ADL</span>. It looks like it wants to kill tanks and just take min troops, which is... ok, I guess. The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(312);'>DKoK</span> looks like it wants to be your troop killer (<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(45);'>GEQ</span> and Xenos). Unsure about mortars and engineers, because I don't know <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(312);'>DKoK</span>, but the Punisher may disappoint - if only for being the only thing AV14 around, so all AV14 cracking weapons will be pointed at it. Low guardsmen <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> also makes it finnicky - would likely do much better prescienced by one of the Inquisitors. Inquisitorial detachment seems torn between <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(652);'>TEQ</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>MEQ</span> killers and supporting <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(45);'>GEQ</span>/Xenos killers. Two inquisitors let you grab a pair of servitor henchmen groups with 3x Plasma Cannons, great for objective squatting - and like the Chimeras for similar ranges. Also benefit hugely from prescience.<br /> <br /> I would take a look at maybe taking a stock guardsmen Infantry platoon, stuffing them full of autocannons, and letting them squat your aegis. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span> for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> (because orders). That's a good firebase for anti <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(45);'>GEQ</span>/Xenos, and stuffed with autocannons can also threaten AV10-12. This lets Inquisitorial focus on anti-<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>MEQ</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(652);'>TEQ</span> courtesy of plasma, while assisting with psymeras. The C:<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span> can then focus entirely on anti-tank duty with the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>devs</span>, possible selecting a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(384);'>MotF</span> and Techmarine as your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> to buff a couple pieces of terrain for the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>Devs</span> to squat in. I'd take three squads of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>Devs</span>, 2x <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span> groups and 1x <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> group (w/ flakk), or 2x <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span> groups and a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(420);'>TFC</span>. Preference to the first - so you can focus entirely on murdering vehicles. Inquisitors offer great and cheap prescience for whatever needs it most, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span> can provide some budget prescience in the form of "Bring it down!" and the like, but usually <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> Plasma Cannons will be your go-to. Last suggestion would maybe be another flyer if points permit - one Stormtalon won't last too long.]]></description>

Scouts are my cheap counter attacking unit whilst the engineers are the reserved objective grabbers.<br /> <br /> The landspeeders are fulfilling anti-troop, and I totally agree they would be better as <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span>. I just don't have the points. Same problem with the combigrav. They are also my only source of ignores cover.<br /> A third <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>dev</span> squad is a good idea. Flakk is also an interesting idea. I could only just fit the stormtalon in.<br /> <br /> The mortars are 3 standard griffon mortars so should do a number on all infantry, as even <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>meq</span> will hate 3 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>tl</span> st6 large blasts. The punisher will be prescienced when it needs to be. I don't mind it attracting <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span> firepower as that will be less directed at the more fragile vehicles.<br /> <br /> Engineers are a cheap scoring tax - <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(312);'>dkok</span> cannot unfortunately have heavy weapons in their infantry squads. Plus I don't find 60pt autocannon sqauds value for money.<br /> <br /> You make a valid point about the lack of plasmagun/heavybolter synergy.<br /> <br /> So here is my rehash with your points in mind:<br /> <br /> - bike squad (just cant justify 93pts for 3 wounds)<br /> - 3 chimeras with 3 plasma gunner acolytes<br /> - predator<br /> - powerweapon on commissar general<br /> <br /> + <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>dev</span> squad with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>mls</span> and flakk (sitting on the quad gun)<br /> + 2 chimeras with 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>hb</span> psybolts and 3 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(331);'>pc</span> servitors in each, the inquisitors go in these<br /> + razorback with assault cannon and psybolt ammo and 3 acolytes<br /> + powerweapon on <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(20);'>ccw</span> scout squad<br /> + powerfist on commissar general<br /> + snipers on scout squad #2<br /> + 1 servo skull.<br /> Speeders split between 2 units of 1 to increase survivability. (I can't get rid of these as only the heavy mortar barrage is ignoring cover, most of the time. Plus I already have lots of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span>. They are my anti pathfinders/camo scouts behind bolstered cover and such like)<br /> <br /> The powerweapon and powerfist upgrades are to take off some of the hit the counter attacking unit has lost by losing the 2 inquisitors.<br /> The more and more I think about the flakk <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>devs</span> the more I like them, I dislike <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ml</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>devs</span> but tank hunter makes that much of a difference! Between them, the quad, the talon, the psyback and prescienced las <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>devs</span> if needed, I have <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(805);'>AA</span> covered.<br /> Lots of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span>, lots of anti horde and lots of anti <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>meq</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(652);'>teq</span>.<br /> Inquisitors prescience whos best for the job at hand and the 'ill be expecting you' rule will be class with 3 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(331);'>pcs</span> to discourage any deepstriking.<br /> <br /> Appreciate the feedback. The only suggestion I might make going forward is to drop the fist to an axe on the general (to shave points, if you can/need to) and upgrade that psyback to a psymera. Depends how often you're going to get into that 24'' line to field the glory of a S7 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span>. If you can pull that off, go for it. Else I'd prefer the 6 S6 shots of the psymera. This, and maybe consider dropping the power weapon on the scout sergeant. Their counter-assault duty goes unfulfilled if the enemy has no assault elements and the sergeant is challenge bait anyway - seems silly to pay more points than a scout for AP3. Might just consider another body for the unit.<br /> <br /> If possible, maybe a Land Speeder Storm for the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(20);'>CCW</span> scout squad? Lets them try and assault even when the enemy isn't assaulting you, and gives them the mobility to pick their battles. And a nice blinding large blast to make those assaults go smoothly.]]></description>

Say minus the psyback, 3 acolytes, servo skull, powersword on scout sarge and powerfist down to a poweraxe on the commisar and I have 105pts. But I have no heavy support slots left in either the IF or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(312);'>DkoK</span>, no elites in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(312);'>DkoK</span> and only 1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(35);'>FA</span> slot in IF if I put the speeders back together... I don't really know what I could get that is worth it for this list at 105pts in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(35);'>FA</span> or elite slots of the IF. I suppose I could get an assault squad with power weapon for counter attack but thats a bit meh and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>Id</span> prefer the psyback.<br /> The Storm is unfortunately out of the question despite blind as it leaves no home for the libby and commisar...<br /> UNLESS...<br /> I give the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(20);'>ccw</span> & <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(260);'>bp</span> scouts snipers, leaving me with 100pts, which allows me to afford 3 Death Cult Assassins, a priest, 6 acolytes with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(20);'>ccw</span> & <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(291);'>lp</span>, and upgrade back to a powerfist on commisar with 1pt to spare. A much better counter assault unit with plenty of wound sponges!
