				<description><![CDATA[ Hey guys. I'm gonna be playing in a escalation tournament soon and I'm having ground with a 1500 pts list. Was wondering if  I could get some input on the list below. 				<description><![CDATA[ The thing that strikes me the most is the single ghost ark, they are solid units but you will find as a single transport, albeit an AV13 one, you will probably lose it early. Ghost arks are best used in multiples, and with a warrior blob to keep watch on.<br /> <br /> Personally, I'm not a great fan of doom scythes, the death ray is quite tricky to use, albeit satisfying when you hit something. I would probably advise you to take it as a night scythe instead, and take a third Annihilation barge. Then you can take a unit of 5 deathmarks with a despairtek and have a quite potent anti elite unit squad that can just drop in. If you can use them to support the wraiths and tomb blades it's a very credible addition to a flanking force. However the problem with tomb blades is that they don't do anything other units can't do better, and for what you are getting there are several better options. Canoptek spiders in particular can serve many roles, like keeping your vehicles in the fight longer, adding scarab bases to a swarm, tearing things apart in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> and of course shooting things.<br /> <br /> You are also not using a royal court, and these can be invaluable, the addition of a chronotek to anarkyr's squad will see him go from a 2/3 chance to take control of a vehicle, to a 8/9 chance. Also the lack of any res or a means you will be relying on the default 5+ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(293);'>RP</span> rolls, and the single ghost ark. Personally I would use a standard overlord, forgo the eternals, and tool him up to be a much meaner <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> unit than anarkyr. If you insist on anarkyr, Zzeras compliments him very nicely, and with any luck, you can boost the immortals toughness to boot, the other stats aren't so useful, but even S5 will make them much meaner in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>.<br /> <br /> Overall it's a workable list, but I suspect you are limited by your model collection?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ By my calculations, unless you have a phase shifter that should come to 1455 points, what it may be useful to do is to split your warriors 15 - 5, the overlord goes with them so they have the benefit of the res orb, while the 5 strong unit rides in the ghost ark and is joined by a destructek or something. 45 points can give you a lot of options! The majority of the flexibility in the army comes from the royal court particularly because they can jump in the ghost ark themselves, having a few destructeks in an open topped transport can be quite nasty, as you can imagine. However, that said, your revised list is <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>IMO</span> a much better force than the original one<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Nothing wrong with Anrakyr if that's who you want to play with.  If you do then the Pyrrian Eternals should be Tesla to take advantage of the Furious Charge.  While it's true that the Gauss will outperform the Tesla when that close, the ability to charge afterwards w/o a Phaeron in the unit is something that the Tesla still has an advantage.<br /> <br /> The Overlord is still a better choice.  Please let us know what's going on him.  If you're going to kit him out for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>, then be sure to make him a Phaeron.<br /> <br /> I'd really try to get more Warriors on the ground if you're going to take the Ark.  What you want to force your opponent to do is have to choose between taking down the Ark or fighting the Warriors.  I understand you're tight on points, but it will really extend the use of both the Ark and the Squad of Warriors on the ground if the squad is in a larger block.  If you don't want to give anything up, then dropping some more out of the Ark, and shifting them over to the unit on the ground is the way to go.  Arks do tend to work better in pairs while covering a squad, but you are also taking 2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(447);'>AB</span>'s which will be enough of a distraction.  Also, putting a Destructek/Tremortek in with the Ark squad is good advice.<br /> <br /> How many Deathmarks are you running?  If it's a full squad, then great.  If it's the typical 5 man with Despairtek, then don't bother.  It's not a terribly great idea, because that unit doesn't normally stick around once it's popped it's trick.  You have to insure that the damage they do, is worth what you're getting back.  With all the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MC</span>'s that are becoming popular, putting a wound an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MC</span> isn't worth the points.  I think you'll see more performance out of dropping them all together, and putting 10 Gauss Immortals in the Nightscythe.<br /> <br /> Drop the Coils on the Wraiths.  They don't do anything for you since you're not running a D-Lord with the unit for sustained combat.  Love the Tomb Blades with Beamers, but I'd also try to find the points for Shield Vanes. Use anrakyrs ability as needed and his <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> 10 one shot. Only other thing I was thinking is a chronotek for Anrakyr. 				<description><![CDATA[ The first list is a good list for Anrakyr, and you should run that for a few games and see how it goes.<br /> <br /> The second list, suffers because you have no protection for the 10 man Warrior Squads.  That will probably end up frustrating you more than anything else, and it'll feel like a waste.  Just keep the Ark.<br /> ]]></description>
