				<description><![CDATA[ Trying to make a list that I think I can play in a bit more of a competitive environment.<br /> <br /> Most of my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span> lists try to avoid Deathstars and such but to be competitive I suppose I have to try and do something different.<br /> <br /> As such this is what I came up with...<br /> <br /> *Eldar are being played as Iyanden purely so I can give the Jetseer the Artifact!, Range is 6" better than a Shining Spear and it has Rending so I thought why not, I had 15 pts left...<br /> <br /> As far as shooting goes the list has...<br /> <br /> 9x Dark Lances (S8, AP2, 36")<br /> 6x Bright Lances (S8, AP2, 36")<br /> 3x Star Cannon (S6, AP2, 36", Heavy 2)<br /> 5x Shuriken Cannons (S6, AP5, 24", Rending <i>AP2</i>, Poison, Assault 3)<br /> 2x Scatter Lasers (S6, AP6, 36", Heavy 4)<br /> 4x Splinter Cannons (SX, AP5, 36", Heavy 6)<br /> 2x Serpent Shields (S7, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span>-, 60", Ignores Cover, Pinning, Assault <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(24);'>D6</span>+1)<br /> 10x Avenger Shuriken Catapults (S4, AP5, 18", Rending, Bladestorm <i>AP2</i>, Assault 2)<br /> 10x Splinter Rifles (SX, AP5, 24", Poison, Rapid Fire)<br /> 5x Splinter Pods (SX, AP5, 18", Poison, Assault 2)<br /> 1x Spear of Teutlas (S9, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span>-, 18", Rending)<br /> <br /> So 109 shots (Excluding the Serpent Shields and Rapid Fire) the vast majority of which should be in range turn 1. Mostly S6, Quite of bit of S8 and practically all of it is AP2 in some form or another, plus the random ignores cover weapons...<br /> <br /> The Jetseer <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(17);'>btw</span> will be rolling on Runes of Fate attempting to get Fortune but taking Guide if he fails the first roll. If he fails the second roll as well I will just keep what he gets and take Prescience. Managed to kill 3 riptides in first turn (assuming I got first turn) which is a damn sight better than I manged in a game last night where I only killed 2 all game with my more fun list...<br /> <br /> I want to use the list in tournaments going forwards.<br /> <br /> What do you guys think? Viable? 				<description><![CDATA[ I quite like the list and looking like it can handle deathstars. The only thing I would possibly consider is taking the Shard of Anaris rather than the Spear of Tuethlas. This would give the Beastpack fearless which can be very important for the unit.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Well worth the trouble, though. Trust me, after you lose 500 points on a single morale test, you'll learn that bitter lesson. <br /> <br /> Also, why so many lances? There's only so much heavy armour on the table at any given time and unless your meta is full of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> spam, I don't see the point. <br /> <br /> I'd take Scatterlasers on those War Walkers, since your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span> is already well taken care of by your Ravagers. <br /> <br /> Also, those Vypers aren't very effective. They'll either be wasting those <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(327);'>BL</span> shots or those <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(382);'>SC</span> shots, because they have wastly different target preferences. Mixing roles is usually a bad idea, but here it's especially so. If you're dead set on running Vypers, take them dual shuriken cannons or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(219);'>SL</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(382);'>SC</span> combo. Starcannon + Shuriken Cannon also works, if you really want to keep that AP2 theme you're going for. <br /> <br /> Although I'd ditch them altogether and get something else for the points. Like Warp Spiders or another Venom with Warriors, and with the rest of the points I'd get the Shard and some other upgrades for my other units. Maybe even a min bike squad for extra scoring.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Local META is mostly Tau and stuff with 2+ Saves plus a Fair few Land Raiders.<br /> <br /> Fearless on the Beastpack is likely a good idea though. i will have a look into that...<br /> <br /> On a more personal note I am a big fan of AP2. I prefer to deny saves rather than hope for loads of wounds from rolling 1's or 2's.<br /> <br /> Looking at the list the only place I could save 25 pts would be by dropping the Flickerfields off the Ravagers...<br /> <br /> Grisly Trophies is another option...]]></description>
