I'd like to spend no more than $150, and I'm thinking that maybe I should go with a shop style compressor like the one above rather than a hobby compressor, since I typically use my airbrush outside on my deck, so noise levels aren't terribly important (though they're still slightly important, because I live in an apartment). I already have a regulator/vapor trap, so I don't necessarily need them to be built-in. Yes, that compressor will work just fine. I'm sure it is just as noisy as any other shop compressor of that size (I have one in my garage that is very similar), which is to say that is tolerable.
