(Necron) Custom Escalation Conundrum...

I'm participating in a very fun and challenging Escalation League. I'll briefly explain the rules, so that you have an idea of what the restrictions are.

6 Weeks, each week adds one FOC slot in the following order. Troops, Elites, HQ, Fast Attack, Heavy Support. Troops**. We're currently on Week 3. Each week also adds 200 points, but there is a catch. The 200 points can only be spent on the one slot, any excess points are lost. (More on this later). Whatever unit you decide to take, you have to keep that unit throughout the event, but you can change the options of the unit within the 200 pts. So for example, If I take a Tac Squad as my Troops choice, I have to keep using a Tac Squad for the remainder of the event. But I can change the Weapons loadout, the # of models, whether or not to bring a Transport, etc. So everyone gets to add 1 FOC unit, and it caps out at 200 pts which is where the challenge is and I'll admit, that part of the event has been exciting.

The excess points that are leftover from each slot, can't be allocated anywhere else for most of the event. I'll show you my list of what I'm taking as we're on Week 3.

15 Warriors 195 pts (5 pts leftover)
Triarch Stalker w/HGC 165 (35 pts leftover)
Overlord Scythe/Weave/Orb/Phaeron + Tremortek 195 (5 pts leftover)

So all of the units are under 200 points. At this point in the event, I'm actually playing 45 points under because I can't use those points anywhere else... YET. I don't have a problem with this, since it applies to everyone else as well. I have to keep the Warriors, the Triarch Stalker, and an Overlord, but everything else can be changed. Here was my Original plan for the event.

My Original List (Which would Still Work)
Week 1 - 15 Warriors
Week 2 - Triarch Stalker
Week 3 - Overlord, possibly dropping Tremortek and adding in MSS if I wanted to.
Week 4 - 5 Wraiths, 2 WC's (because why not?)
Week 5 - Doomscythe (only because I don't currently OWN a Monolith for an even 200)
Week 6 - 15 Warriors

So at the end of the Event, I'd be playing a total of 80 pts down. Again, didn't have an issue with this because everyone else has the same restrictions, so it would average out. I wasn't going to take the Triarch Stalker, but I didn't have my Flayed Ones done in time, and had I seen the scenarios, I probably would've rushed the Flayed ones (and taken Zahndrekh as my HQ) It was just clarified though, that when we get our 2nd Troop Choice at the end of the event, the 200 point restriction on Troops is lifted, and all of those built up dead points can be used to take the Troops over the 200pt restriction. This has made me consider taking the hit for a week or 2 by taking a HUGE point hit on the Heavy Support or Fast Attack and then make up for it at the end.

So the New List I'm thinking about.
Week 1 - 15 Warriors (bulk out to 20, on Final Week)
Week 2 - Triarch Stalker HGC (Still have the full points for this)
Week 3 - Overlord Scythe/Weave/Orb/Phaeron - Still having points for Cryptek if I wanted to.
Week 4 - 5 Tomb Blades Shield Vanes/Particle Shredders
Week 5 - Annhiliation Barge (I can ONLY take one and I overlooked it because it would put me a FULL 110 pts under everyone else)
Week 6 - 15 Warriors (bulk out to 20, OR take 14 with Nightscythe.)

That 14 in Nightscythe would leave me just 8 pts under, still have room for a Cryptek and shift points around in the HQ. I could switch back to the Wraiths, but the Whip Coils aren't going do a whole lot, and I'm just taking them because I can't use the points elsewhere, unless I want to bulk out the unit of Warriors and run the Nightscythe Empty. The reason the switch to Tomb Blades, is that Im now forced to bring the Triarch Stalker, and I think 5 Twin-linked Blasts would work better in this army, than the one Assaulting unit. I also thought about taking Immortals in a Nightscythe, but then I had too many points left over anyways. I could also put both units of Warriors In Nightscythes, but then Im not taking advantage of the Triarch Stalker, who probably won't be around when the Warriors arrive, again, unless I choose to run the Scythes empty.

I only recently acquired 2 Annihilation Barges, so I don't have as much experience with them as everyone else does. My QUESTION to those who seem to think they are the best thing ever, is would it be worth it to play 110 points down on Week 5, then make up for it with a Troop Heavy list on the final week? This is where I'm asking for advice.

Thanks.
