				<title>Psychic Novas and vehicles</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ So, I'm in quite the pickle. How exactly does a nova affect a vehicle? Specifically, Psychic Scream (Tyranids) is a 6" nova that inflicts <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(1);'>2D6</span>+2-Leadership unsavable wounds. So, how would I go about this against say a Dreadnought since it doesn't have wounds, saves and/or a leadership value. Note that there is no shooting attack profile for this psychic ability outside of the above information. Please help! (This needs to be added to the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(3);'>40K</span> rulebook as I could not find anything on it in there)]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Arbiter: The books are very specific on types of damage. The thing about vehicles is they can take two specific types of damages, in glancing or penetrating hits. Something that "automatically wounds on" does not automatically cause a hull point of damage. Fleshbane, for example, does not automatically cause a hull point on a 2+ even though it causes a wound on a 2+.<br /> <br /> If something inflicts hull point damage, it'll give you whether it's a glancing or penetrating hit, to my knowledge always. I am sure there is an example somewhere of an oversight on the part of the rules writers, but I can't think of any examples off the top of my head.<br /> <br /> As for the topic on hand, something that specifically targets leadership cannot affect vehicles.]]></description>
