				<title>Help me create a 400pt Blood Angels combat patrol army</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ As the title suggests, I would like help creating a 400 point Blood Angels army for Adepticon's Combat Patrol:<br /> <br /> <a href="http://www.adepticon.org/14rules/2014cp.pdf" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.adepticon.org/14rules/2014cp.pdf</a>   (Here are the rules)<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> What I have and want to work with:<br /> <br /> 20 tactical marines (capable of any combination of special weapons)(flamer, meltagun, missile launcher whatever)<br /> 20 assault marines (capable of any combination of special weapons)(flamers, meltaguns, any crazy combo on sergeants)<br /> 10 devastators (most have missile launchers but I can build other special weapons)<br /> 10 scouts (sniper rifles and missile launchers)<br /> 5 assault terminators (lightning claws or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>TH</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span>'s)(I really want to use these guys but will probably never make it to <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>)<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> What I could in theory use:<br /> <br /> Sanguinary priests (although that's a lot of points for one guy in combat patrols)<br /> Death company (lots of points no matter what, and NOT scoring!)<br /> I even have a Death company dreadnaught (legal but again not scoring, and slow)<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> What I won't do:<br /> <br /> Buy more stuff.  I don't want to go out and buy any dedicated transports, as I love the look of pure infantry (and my GF would kill me if I spent more money)<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> HELP ME!!!<br /> <br /> Death company are fun, but I've thrown that plan out the window.<br /> Part of me wants to go full assault marines, but there's far too many combinations of how to equip them (and the Sargent) for me to make up my mind.  (Double hand flamers?  Infernus pistols?  Which <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> power weapon?  Bare bones?  Melta bomb?? help!!!)<br /> Part of me wants to play it safe and make a shooty list (devastators, tacticals, scouts). This is what I call plasma overload:<br /> <br /> Sanguinary Priest (Combi-Plasmagun, Jump pack, Melta Bombs) 90 pts<br /> 10 Assault Marines (2 Plasmaguns, Sergeant 2 Plasma Pistols, Melta Bombs) 255 pts<br /> <br /> That's 345 points for 11 models, but lots of strength 7 shooting!!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Sanguinary Priest with Jump Pack and Power Axe<br /> <br /> 8 assault marines, melta gun<br /> <br /> 7 assault marines, melta gun<br /> <br /> Generic, flying, punchy Blood Angels. No creativity needed and exactly 400 points<br /> <br /> Or you can swap the Power axe for three melta bombs (one on the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(759);'>SP</span> and one on each sergeant) if you expect lots of vehicles and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MCs</span>]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ What I have seen at most of the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(3);'>40k</span> world at Adepticon is lack of terrain. That being said you might be at a disadvantage if you don't have any long range and only 2-3 targets with the "Sanguinary Priest with Jump Pack and Power Axe 8 assault marines, melta gun 7 assault marines, melta gun". <br /> <br /> This a quick list I put together and did good with for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span>.<br /> <br /> Tact Squad x10 Flamer/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span>(free) Sarg(leader) with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(486);'>PW</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(254);'>MB</span> Razorback(fast vehicle) <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(756);'>TLLC</span><br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>Dev</span> Squad x5  3 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span>'s<br /> <br /> Long range to take out anyone running a speeder list(my friend does and he is going to Adepticon) and to stop anyone with transports. Hide the Razorback for the fist turn(if you can/lack of terrain and all) then move out when you want. Don't give them first kill. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>Dev</span>'s go in cover and hopefully have <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LOS</span> to most of the field. Tact squad does Combat Squad and one 5 man in the Razorback and the other sits on an objective and supports with long range.<br /> <br /> At 400 points there is only so much to choose from.<br /> <br /> Good luck.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ @bocatt<br /> <br /> That looks good, I suppose the AP2 power axe will really help in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> (even if it is unwieldy).  Is the Priest really worth it though?  for nearly 100 points I can simply get more marines<br /> <br /> @Gundor2<br /> <br /> Thanks for the input, but as I stated in the beginning I can't go out and buy anything (not even a razorback!).  Although, I like the idea of 5 missile launcher Devastators sitting back and blowing away any armor.]]></description>
