				<description><![CDATA[ So I've decided to branch out and try a new gaming group (I've REALLY got back into the hobby over the last year and a bit since returning <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(84);'>lol</span>) I want to impress on my first visit so have decided to take crons. The other options being <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> (my large primary army), an unbalanced chaos army and old 2nd ed with a few 3rd ed models ork army (so no go there).<br /> I will of course need to take models I actually own so came up with a 1500pt list. I only own 3 converted crypteks but am hoping they will allow me to proxy pariahs as the other 2. I know destroyers are fragile for their points but I want some reliable anti <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>meq</span> just in case.<br /> What do you think?<br /> <br /> Necron Overlord (tanks for destroyers)<br /> SoL, weave, shifter, orb<br /> <br /> Court<br /> 1 despairtek<br /> Veil, shroud<br /> 2 stormteks<br /> These will run as a unit, deepstriking first turn near juicy mech. Shroud hopefully also making someone run off. Pretty much 120pts of suicide goodness, they have always been worth including <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>imo</span>.<br /> <br /> Stormtek (in warrior #1) dropped with squad near mech if need be.<br /> <br /> Stormtek (in warrior #2) dropped with squad near mech if need be.<br /> <br /> Lord (in warrior #3)<br /> Orb, SoL<br /> <br /> Warrior squad #1<br /> 5 man<br /> Night scythe<br /> <br /> Warrior squad #2<br /> 5man<br /> Night scythe<br /> <br /> Warrior squad #3<br /> 15man<br /> <br /> 3 scarabs<br /> <br /> 3 scarabs<br /> <br /> 5 destroyers<br /> <br /> Annihilation barge<br /> <br /> Annihilation barge<br /> <br /> Annihilation barge<br /> <br /> 1500pts<br /> <br /> The overlord is a points sink but unless I put him in a barge, any <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>hq</span> in this list will be a tax, so might as well have him doing something useful by tanking for the destroyers. I could drop the destroyers, put him in a barge, tool him up for assault and get a more scarabs and warriors with the spare points? But then I have no dedicated anti <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>meq</span>.<br /> Weak to assault but the scarbs can provide speedbumps where needed. Should be a pretty nasty list against mech builds and low model count armies but will be trounced by deamons and nids.<br /> I have no idea what the meta is, even wether it is uber competative or just casual.<br /> Will this list cover the bases I need to cover in your opinions?<br /> <br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 9px; line-height: normal;">Automatically Appended Next Post:</span><br /> On a sidenote... anyone from 'hulls angels' on this site?]]></description>

There is only one player who can get it, warlord and line breaker come second because you both can get them. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ You've got <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>MEQ</span> and Mech covered, but what about <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(652);'>TEQ</span> and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MCs</span>? You've got no way to handle 2+ saves or high toughness multi-wound models apart from Tesla Destructors (while alright, is hardly optimal).<br /> <br /> But yeah, get those two groups of 3 Scarabs together to lessen your chance to give up easy first blood.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Yeh that's why I said it would get trounced by nids and deamons when it comes <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MCs</span>. Unless you include destroyer lord/wraith combination or an RDI with lots of scythes and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(330);'>mms</span>, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MCs</span>, I find, are generally necrons big weakness.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(652);'>Teq</span> should be covered by weight of fire per points. I won't be outshot by termis, should have enough firepower to hamstring sang guard rush, and all other <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(652);'>teq</span> generally needs a transport to get near - I have the tools to take out transports very very quickly. Waggon goes down before mega armour gets near.<br /> The big issue <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(652);'>teq</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(325);'>tbh</span> would be <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>mcs</span> with a 2+. But thats because they are <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>mcs</span> not mainly because they have a 2+.<br /> <br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 9px; line-height: normal;">Automatically Appended Next Post:</span><br /> Of course high firepower <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(652);'>teq</span> such as oblits and cents would be a worry, but there shouldnt be so many of them that I couldnt just focus on them with weight of fire.]]></description>
