I've been trying to find a suitable material/mesh that I can use to create cam netting with (28mm scale for 40k). I've tried dying some bits mesh etc but not had any luck. Is there any advice, tips or somebody who knows where I may be able source the nesseccary bits.

^ This. Gauze pads/bandages. You can soak them in diluted paint(s) to get a base color going (depending on what camo you're going for, usually an olive drab color) then paint on or tie-dye other colors to suit your camo needs.

If you're using it on terrain you can soak it in watered down PVA (white glue) and when it dries it'll be nice and sturdy.
