1850 pts of Imperial fist - Help needed vs. Nurgle Daemons.

I've lost a number of times to a specific Nurgle Daemon list now, it's so very tough and hard to deal with, this is my latest idea for how to handle it, help much appreciated it as I seem to have hit a brick wall in regards to my options, I've previously tried things like spamming sternguard against it with little success.

New list:
Captain Lysander. 230 pts

Terminator Assault squad, 5 x thunderhammer and stormshield 200

Sternguard veteran Squad, 2 x melta 3 x combi-melta, drop pod 205 pts

Tactical Squad, 6 x models, 1 x flamer, razorback, las/plasma. 164 pts

Tactical Squad, 6 x models, 1 x flamer, razorback, las/plasma. 164 pts

Tactical Squad, 6 x models, 1 x flamer, razorback, las/plasma. 164 pts

Scout squad,6 x models, 4 xsniper rifles, 1 x heavy bolter w/ hellfire shells 84 pts

Stormtalon gunship, skyhammer missile launcher. 125 pts

Thunderfire cannon 100 pts

Devastator squad, 6 x models , 4 x missile launcher 144 pts

Devastator squad, 6 x models, 4 x lascannon 164 pts.

Aegis Defense line – Quad gun. 100 pts

1844 points.

The general idea is that Lysander and Termies will engage his closest units, typically his plaguedrones, while sternguards and devs focus on his soulgrinders, aegis and my flier is used against his flying daemonprince, and rest of units go for objectives and trying to kill his troops.

His list is like this:

2 x Great unclean one, lvl 3 psykers, they'll both run biomancy so he is almost certain to get at least 1 endurance and 1 enfeeble most games. He'll cast Endurance on his plaguedrones, one will have the book that can give a daemon unit +2 to it's inv. save as well.
5 x plaguedrones, these will zoom ahead of rest of his army, giving the units behind them a 3+ cover save due to mark of nurgle, while they themselves get buffed with endurance and the book, giving them +3 inv. save and FnP, they are almost impossibe to kill and will be able to assault me in turn 2 almost always, I've yet found a good way to deal with them. If he didn't get the book through it would be easier, but so far in 3 games he's never failed to roll the +3 for using it >_>
4 x 10 plaguebearers, his objective grabbers, he'll keep them in reserve and then deepstrike them onto objectives later in game while I'm busy with all his big tough units, they're hard to get rid of especially with their +2/3 cover saves if in terrain, thunderfire works but since they don't fall back ever with being daemons he'll often have 2-3 models left which is enough to claim objective at end of match.
2 x Soulgrinder, these will shoot at any marines not in cover and open my transports easily, once more they're extremely tough to deal with, even if I get good armor rolls they still have a cover/inv save of +5, or 2/3 if in cover.
1 x daemon prince, flying, lvl 3 psyker. he'll use the nurgles breath flamer to kill my objective holding marines and devastators, just as tough as rest of army and he is of course a flyer.

Normally what happens is that he moves flies forward and I have to focus almost all my fire on them, and they'll still live, then he'll engage with flies next turn and start roasting marines with daemon prince and soulgrinders, and then the greater daemons arrive, while he deepstrikes onto objectives out of my reach.. all of his units are just incredibly hard to deal with, especially if he's just slightly lucky with how terrain has been placed so he can easily grab +2/3 cover saves.

I've got a large selecton of models and money to buy more so all ideas, tactics and suggestions regarding my list and any kind of changes to deal with the above nurgle army are more than welcome. Thanks!
Currently I'm considering adding another flyer as my one stormtalon always does well, wether the terminators are worth it, if I should run Lysander or just a cheap librarian, if I need more sternguards and so on, I'm open to all options.

1850 pts of Imperial fist - Help needed vs. Nurgle Daemons.

WARNING WALL OF TEXT! lol

Hey bud! I'm gonna offer some advice to what I think may help kill those big N'asties! I am going to assume that we want to stick with Imp Fist for marines and not switch to another faction altogether, but I do want to ask are you open to taking allies?

Also, when it comes to Daemons their mobility is their strongest asset. FMC, Screamers, Plaguedrones, Hounds...all of those are fast moving units that can reach you fairly quickly. Soul Grinders can deep-strike also proving to be a threat. I suggest that from a list building standpoint you have units that have the mobility to avoid these units.

First: Get an Auspex, maybe two.

Second: I would say drop the Termies and perhaps even Lysander. Often these models fail to pay their points back and often under-perform.

Third: You may want to consider adding a second drop-pod with a flamer, combi-flamer unit. That way if you are going first, the stern-guard pod can pose some threat with their meltas, and if you are going 2nd the flamer pod poses threat to the troop choices that come on via reserve. Multiple functionality for units is nice, and its another troop.

Fourth: If you have not gotten it yet, pick up the Sentinels of Terra supplement, and invest in the libby or two, give one the item that boosts his Warpcharge count. Roll on telepathy! You will only get two rolls, but you can hope for Hallucination! Have that Daemon Prince smash himself for Instant Death. Also, Psyshriek is a pretty good way to kill those GUO. A ML1 Libby can auto take it. Did I mention take an Auspex! lol.

Fifth: Back to the mobile units...why not take that scout unit, pop it in a land speeder storm, give that storm 2x HF and roast his troops! You now have another mobile troop, have the ability to kill his troops and divert the attention of his killy units.

Sixth: I would drop the LasDev squad in favor of 3 solo MMAB. These bikes are going to be a pain for grinders, are mobile, and they have a TLBolter that is great at forcing grounding checks on Mr. Daemon Prince.

Some Notes on Facing the army,

The drones are going to be a huge pain regardless, so instead of trying to face them head on, toss units to slow them down while you focus on the models that buff them.

The FMC is best dealt with by forcing grounding checks. Units that are often discounted, such as drop pods, can often be really useful for forcing said checks via storm-bolters. Try not to forget to use them. Seeing as hes going to have awesome cover-saves, it may be a viable strategy to force wounds via grounding.

The Soulgrinders are a pain in the ass, but are extraordinarily slow. If you keep focus on his troops he will have to divert some attention to those units.

I hope I was able to help! If you have any more questions or want any more tips//advice and don't think I am full of hooey I can comment some more lol.
