Looking for some critique on a list that i am proposing running.

HQ
Shadowsun, shield drone and command link drone
Ethereal

Elites
Riptide - Stim injector, ion accelerator, interceptor
Riptide - Stim injector, heavy burst cannon, skyfire
Crisis suits x 3 - TL fusion blaster and plasma rifle

Fast Attack
5 x pathfinder
5 x pathfinders

Troops
10 x firewarriors, devilfish, (ethereal goes here)
6 x firewarriors, Bonding knife
6 x firewarriors

Heavy Support
Hammerhead - ion cannon, disruption pod, sms
Hammerhead - rail gun, with solid shot, disruption pod, sms
2 x broadside - TL rail rifle, sms, 1 x seeker missile, sms, skyfire on both

Tactics
dependent upon mission (they are usually a variation of the normal missions) i will deploy as normal with the devilfish in the centre giving FNP and then stack up on that.

Shadowsun to drop in where i need her and then the rest is down to the dice.

Shadowsun is only useful to give a deathstar stealth and shrouded. Otherwise she is pointless and you have no death star.

Ethereal is OK but best kept for use a cheap mandatory HQ. Drop him and save yourself 50 points. Basically your entire HQ needs rethinking.

Iontide has a good load out and is pretty much the only thing you've got right in the list.

AAtide needs interceptor to even be worth starting to think about. Though there are better ways to get AA into the list (more on that later) I think you are better off doubling up on the Iontide.

Crisis suits shouldn't mix weapons. Fusion and plasma have different targets. If you want to hunt AV14 take 2 fusion blasters, if you want to kill TEQ/MEQ then take two plasma rifles. Though it is best to leave that last job to the Iontides.

Pathfinders are the worst source of MLs in the codex. Too fragile and give up First Blood too easily. Mark'o, Buffmander and Skyrays are generally the best ways to get MLs (or equivalent buffs) into a list.

FWs in Devilfish are pretty inefficient. FWs in reserve are generally all you need for troops along with out flanking Kroot. Bonding knives are never worth it to protect 1 FW.

Ionhead is decent if you're taking a Hammerhead it is the best option, but they are just about the worst HS option in the codex. You compound this by taking the even worse Railhead. Broadsides and Skyrays are the go to HS options by a mile.

Broadsides are awesome but Railsides are woeful. Missilesides are one of the strongest units in the entire codex load them up with EWO and max missile drones and delete a unit a turn. They really are that good and fully equipped 2 are still the costs as your broadsides. 4 S7 vs 1 S8 is really a no brained. They also dovetail with the SMS that's 24 shots from a unit of 2. Though competitively you'll want more.
