				<title>Help with 1000 Point Iron Hands LIst</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ I’ve been a part of this hobby since Rogue Trader was released. Unfortunately it has mostly been the reading, purchasing and dreaming part. I actually have found time on my hands and am committed to actually getting a small army done. I’ve decided on Iron Hands, partially because of the background, but mostly because they are easy to paint. I’m looking for a well rounded list. Something that a beginner can use, that will enable me to become more familiar with the rules. There are certain models that I would like to use as I thought they would look good in an Iron Hands army.<br /> <br /> They are:<br /> <br /> Forge Father (Techmarine with Servoharness)<br /> <br /> Techmarine with Thunderfire Cannon<br /> <br /> Iron Clad Dreadnought with Hurricane Bolter and Chain Fist (Forgeworld)<br /> <br /> I have plenty of Space Marines, Assault Marines and Sternguard. I picked up the Iron Hands transfer sheet, character upgrade pack, emblems and etched brass from Forgeworld as well as the Iron Hands upgrade pack from <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(50);'>GW</span>. I have managed to put together a squad with a Heavy Bolter, flamer and Sgt with Powerfist and Bolter/Flamer. My initial thought was to have 2 10 man squad of Marines. One to move up the field with the Iron Clad and the other to hang back and provide supporting fire. I have a Rhino and Razorback I could use as well.<br /> <br /> I have a headquarters, elite, 2 troops and a heavy. I was thinking of adding in a 10 man assault squad with jump packs. Is the assault squad the best use of the fast attack squad with the other models that I have? I was thinking 10 extra Assault Marines would play to the strength of the Iron Hands Chapter Tactics (<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span>).  I was also thinking of adding a Librarian to the list to work with the physic rules. The Librarian would be attached to the support tactical squad with the Razorback.<br /> <br /> Any and all suggestions are welcome on models, weapons, upgrades and equipment. I am not what you would call a completive gamer, I just prefer not to be losing on turn 2 during the learning process. Purchasing additional models is not a problem and I plan of going up to 1850 which seems to be the point’s level that is played most in NYC.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ]]></description>
