Need Advice on my new painting scheme...the sting!

Hey all, I've slowly been building up my taut army for a while now, have been doing a Far-Sight scheme because I never felt confident with any scheme I cam up with... until now.

My play style is very hit and run with surgical strikes alike little bee stings and it has helped inspire me to paint my army around our needle bum friends! (Que theme song "Black and Yellow")

I would appreciate any advice and possibly even a video tutorial link, I am a rather novice painter and want to do things right so any advice is great. Now I know a lot of people groan about citadel paints but I have a huge chest of the paints and don't want to spend money on yet more paint, so if I could get advice on what citadel paints to use I'd really appreciate it!

For my army I want to do full black armor with a dark colour for pants (suggestions?), then I want to do edging around armour pieces in bright yellow to make the models pop. For fire warrior Shays'ui I would do the edging in purple but apply yellow markings to the armour legging and should armour.

I hope that's not to vague a description, but any and all help would be appreciated, I do want to get better!
