				<description><![CDATA[ Hey ya'll! <br /> With the release of the new &quot;codex&quot; for our beloved (if a bit unloved, but not our fault, getting a full army of these lovely ladies would cost my left kidney and/or signing the soul of my first born child to <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(50);'>GW</span>, but I digress please forgive me.) So what do you guys think? I know I wouldn't be able to get many battle babes on the table for only 500 points, I would just like to hear from some more experienced Sister players what the best combo would be for such a low point cost.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Why only one priest? For the points they cost, you're assured to have both re-rolls to wound and re-rollable armour saves if you stick three of them in the unit. Added bonus: if all three <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(82);'>ld</span> tests succed, you get to let one priest smash as well! I do think though that both Celestine and Jakobus need to be paired with a sister squad instead of a guardsmen squad. On the other hand, the higher leadership is useful.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Haha now you see my dilemma, cause I need an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> obviously, but With so little troops I can get for only 500 points I wouldn't see a better place to put them! But I did overlook the fact you can place multiple priests in the unit, thanks for that tip! See my thinking was the conscripts being a tarpit/disraction unit of sorts, I mean nobdy likes the sight of 50 screaming Fearless fanatics running towards them, and that Vindicator they have has to target SOMETHING, so I would rather it be the Martyrs <img src="/s/i/a/baf5f2e54c6b17d5c5d39aecadfa1272.gif" border="0"> Plus if the happen to get to a unit and by some chace just roll over them (Priests or Jakobus would help) Than more power to them! Depending on the situation you can then place her either in the guardsman blob (the usual situation) or place her with the seraphim (in case you need to drop an insane amount of flame templates on something and then butcher the rest in combat). </div><br /> This will (in my opinion) give you what you need to support your guardsmen. You have three priests, I suggest placing one in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(664);'>BSS</span> and two in the conscript blob (as Celestine's <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(82);'>ld</span> of 10 will give you a 11/12 of succeeding anyway). The sister squad will be useful to both claim and keep an objective. The seraphim could either deep-strike or start in cover, just make sure you get the best of those shredding hand flamer hits you get for a single turn. The exorcist will do what an exorcist does best, and with the conscript blob you can have Celestine dish out an insane amount of damage while having plenty of guardsmen to take the blows for her. If there's nowhere you can drop 10 points in your own list, drop the storm bolter (a.k.a the 4+ against <i>weapon destroyed</i>), and change the heavy flamer to a regular flamer. Mind though that my only experience with guard comes from playing<i> against</i> them, so have someone double-check my advice <img src="/s/i/a/baf5f2e54c6b17d5c5d39aecadfa1272.gif" border="0"><br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Your imperial guard force is illegal, and isnt all to great.  <br /> <br /> You need to have 2 infantry squads minimum to run a platoon.<br /> <br /> A 50man conscript squad is useless as once it starts getting shot at it will fail its leadership and run away or it will get swept in combat. conscripts are best when used with chenkov and send in the next wave using 1-2 units of conscripts with send in the next wave.<br /> <br /> A lone commissar in an infantry squad will not do you any good, hes better in a blob of guardsmen, usually 30-40 man.<br /> <br /> Valkyries are also very bad.  They are only useful when used with multiple rocket pods or you take the vendetta instead.<br /> <br /> <br /> Missle launchers also arent the greatest heavy weapon teams.  Autocannons are great for more shots and putting more wounds on targets and lascannons are better with higher strength and their ap2 bonus to detsroy vehicles.<br /> <br /> Hope that helps]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I think priests are a great and fluffy addition to your imperial guard squads. Put one with the conscripts, and one with each standard squad. Priests are far better than conscripts, and cheaper, so you can save the points there for toys elsewhere. <br /> <br /> Brother Michael has a very solid list. For your guard, you want heavy weapons when your on foot. Probably an autocannon in the infantary squads to provide long range support. The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span> probably wants a heavy weapon team as well, then a regimental standard. 4th guy can take whatever, probably a sniper just for a cheap long range gun. Don't take heavy weapon teams until you have heavy weapons elsewhere.<br /> <br /> The platoon command squad with 4 flamers makes a very effective unit out of a vendetta/valk. The vet's with meltas would also be nice in the valkeries, otherwise get them chimeras. Carapace armor is not that critical if you can mech them up. ]]></description>

Which wouldn't bother me so much I had the points. Plus the nature of what the blob would most likely be used for will put it out of command distance most of the time anyways, I knew I wouldn't be able to issue (At least effectively) orders to the meat shields... I mean distractions... 				<description><![CDATA[ No, under the platoon option you have 1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(331);'>PCS</span>, 2-5 infantry squads, then however many special, heavy weapon and conscript squads.  This means you have to have at the bare minimum 1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(331);'>PCS</span> and 2 infantry squads but you can have up to 5 infantry squads per platoon.  and then you dont have to take any conscripts, heavy or special weapon squads but thats up to you if you want them, all three seem to be a waste if you ask me.]]></description>
