Looking to see if this would a good TAC list at 2k. Short of troops but I play on a heavy terrain mat and have a lot of line of sight going against me and for me LOL . Help is always welcomed!

Librarian w/ML1, Bike, & Power Field Generator
Ravenwing Command Squad w/5 Knights, Apoth, and RGL

Troops - 170pts
2x 5 Tactical Marine w/Plasma Cannon

Total: 1960pts w/6 Troops

What should I spend my 40pts left over on? I can field a Ravenwing Company Champion, Ravenwing Hit n' Run Banner (Not sure if Khan is in the squad it would affect him too), Meltabombs, or more SS's....not sure! Please help! Thanks

- Personally I'd remove the command squad, and replace it with 2 more 5 man bike squads, give them flamers or gravguns. Some people swear by command squads though, so its your call.

-Consider combi-weapons on your bikes, those 3 extra grav guns shots are normally worth their points

- I'd take out the LotD. If you do want to take them, then change their loadout. Why flamers? They are slow, and already ignore cover with all their guns. A HB and plasmagun would be better imo. Also the sergeant ca't have a plasma gun.

- Tac squads are a drain on points. you already have 4-6 scoring units of bikes. I'd just take a cheap unit of scouts to cover the requirement.

With the points left over, you could consider getting a another level for the librarian (invisibility is a powerful tool if you can get it), a squad of Black Knights (depending on how much other stuff you dropped), or possibly an aegis with comms-relay (potentially useful to give you cover on the first turn, and will also let you get your reserves in more reliably. ]]> http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/582376/6589390.page http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/582376/6589390.page GMT
