1850 Tournament Tau+Farsight

Main (CodexTau)
Aegis + Quad Gun - 100
Warlord - Crisis Commander (2x marker drones, puretide chip, Iridium armor, 2x missile pods, stim injector, drone controller) - 202
Elites - Riptide (early warning, ion cannon) - 190
Troops - 12 fire warriors - 108
- 6 fire warriors - 54
- 6 fire warriors + devilfish - 134
- 10 kroot + 1 kroot hound - 65
FA - 5x pathfinders - 55
5x pathfinders - 55
HS - Hammerhead + disruption pods + submunition - 145
- Hammerhead + disruption pods + submunition - 145
Allies (Farsight Enclave)
HQ - Ethereal
Elite - Riptide (Early warning, ion cannon, earth caste pilot) - 220
Troops - 3x crisis suits with 2x missile pods each 2x marker drones - 183
- 3x crisis suits 2x fusion blasters 1x flamer each - 179

I think this puts me at roughly 35 points over budget which I can figure out easy what to drop. But the idea would be to throw the 18 fire warriors on foot behind the aegis the the ethereal, flanking them with the pathfinders. Riptides, hammerheads, and crisis go where needed.
The firewarriors just try and stay alive while my suits do the heavy lifting. Riptides will blast apart any bunched heavy infantry, hammerheads go after armor or regular infantry, missile suits go after MC's or AV 12 or less tanks, fusion blasters either push on foot or deepstrike in and deal with what I need to deal with (I can either throw 3 templates or 6 melta shots into something). The kroot are there purely as a secondary outflank/linebreaker squad (I might drop them) the devilfish is there either to push something or to pick up the ethereal and save him from dying and giving the enemy more points. I have 6 scoring units 4 purely denial units (around 50% total are much harder to remove from the board). 10 markerlights at BS 3 4 at BS 5 averaging ~ 8 on 3 different targets as needed.

Thoughts? Concerns?
Appreciate the advice!

There is a fair amount you could drop from the list.

The main army is pretty good, but I would make at least one if not both of the hammerheads a skyray. It would be extra AA defense, while costing less. They also provide a secondary markerlight source.

With the EPCA, I would take a velocity tracker and stick to the heavy burst cannon. Re rolling 1's makes it safe to use even nova charged, and provides serious anti air power.

The problem with the marker drones being on the suits is that the suits have to shoot at the same target as the crisis team unless you invest in target locks. I would drop some pathfinders and take a large unit of marker drones, giving the commander a target lock so he can lead them around with BS5 marker lights, as he throws out missiles.

The flamer option is cool for the suicide fusion suits, but I would drop it if your over. Great to kill points, but easily cut.

If you ever need to spend the last couple of points, take the neuroweb jammer on the commander. By no means required, it is a steal for the points, and helps round out lists.
