Tips for GW Dark Apostle model?

I just started painting and putting together this model and have noticed how flimsy parts are, and how the pack with all the scripture on the back does not actually fit on the model... Anyone who has put this model and painted it before have any good tips or ideas, because im very afraid of breaking that halo while painting it.

You have to kind of fish the scrolls on the backpack around the right leg of the miniature. It could be possible that they are bent, in which case you can dip them in warm (not boiling!) water and gently bend them how you would like. As far as the halo goes, just be extra careful when handling the model. I don't know how you paint, but I find it best to pin the feet of the model and them then push the pins into a cork stopper to minimize handling the model directly.

Good luck!
