Since I'm getting a warhound soon (technically a Dreamforge Crusader, but it'll be used as one), I wrote up this list to go with it:

Now, a couple of notes on this:
- I haven't played escalation before, so there might be a lot wrong with this list
- I only own SoB models, so no allies
- Since we're not jerks, we ask for the opponents permission before bringing lords of war at my FLGS. Thus, my opponent will know that I'm bringing an LoW and will likely bring one of his own.

My strategy will be as follows:

My main gunline will consist of the Warhound, the Retributors, the Exorcist and the big sister squad with the power maul priest, behind the Aegis line. The two small sister squads, each with a priest, will be on either flank of the aegis line. The seraphim with Celestine will either start behind something completely blocking LOS or in reserve, and the dominions with repressor will definitely start in reserves (using the old repressor rules, so front AV 13 and two fire points).

The big sister squad will be ‘wrapped’ around the warhound, to prevent charges. The melta’s are there to shoot at closing elite threats (termies or bikers, most likely), as I’m less afraid of a horde making it to the warhound with the amount of flamers and bolter shots in my army. Should they manage to charge my warhound anyway, the maul priest is there to provide a counter-charge and hopefully smash them off it.

Anti-air is primarily done by the Repressors, and secondarily by the warhound’s mega-bolter. If all else fails, the Exorcist could help too. The (rending) quad gun, in particular, is my best hope to drop enemy flyers.

Anti-tank is covered by the Exorcist, the Dominions and of course the warhound’s destructor. Their combined fire should hopefully be able to drop anything shy of a Lord of War (and hopefully them too).

Anti-infantry is the role of the Seraphim and the two small Sister Squads. With the amount of flamer templates I can drop, I’ll hopefully remove enough of enemy hordes to create some space between them and my army, to win another round of shooting before they can charge.

Good idea! That'd involve actually buying the Jakobus model, of course, but that's a minor obstacle

How would you suggest using him? I think my three options are:
- Place him in the big sister squad, and use the 35 points for scattered upgrades and combi-weapons
- Place him in the big sister squad dropping the priest there, using the 75 free points to get a 16 model squad

Bonus: the Enemy will bring a LoW, and probably destroy Sisters+Gun before any flyer of his arrives.
