I'm doing some sculpting for the imperial knight model. I have to sculpt some large fabric pieces in various places, but all of my green stuff develop tiny little lumps that I cant smooth out. They form as i'm kneading the stuff together and no amount of time spent mashing the stuff together gets me a smooth, homogeneous texture. Any one have tips on how to prevent this from happening, or have any alternative brands of epoxy mixes I can try out?

You get so much more for not much more £$. Difficult to find in the UK now though.
