				<title>1750 Imperial Guard Stronghold for tournament</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Going to a tournament and it will be the first one that will be fully allowing the Stronghold Assault codex, and this is what I'm looking at bringing with me.<br /> <br /> Imperial Guard<br />      -<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>-<br /> Company Command Squad w/ Astropath, Officer of the Fleet and 2 Bodyguards<br /> <br />      -Troops-<br /> Infantry Platoon<br />      Platoon Command Squad<br />      Infantry Squad w/ Autocannon<br />      Infantry Squad w/ Autocannon<br /> Veteran Squad w/ 3 Plasmaguns and Grenadiers<br /> Veteran Squad w/ 3 Plasmaguns and Grenadiers<br /> <br />      -Fast Attack-<br /> Vendetta Gunship<br /> Vendetta Gunship<br /> <br />      -Fortification-<br /> Wall of Martyrs Imperial Defense Network<br />      2 Firestorm Redoubt w/ 2 Battlecannons<br />      Bunker w/ Comms Relay<br />      4 Vengeance Weapons Batteries w/ Quad Icarus Lascannons<br />      Imperial Defense Line<br />      Imperial Defense Emplacement<br /> <br /> The Veterans come in with the Vendetta on turn 2 (2+ re-roll able to ensure) and get dropped off mid game to grab objectives mid field. The Fortress has 4 Battlecannons and 8 Lascannons to give the meager ground forces something to shoot with until the Vendetta arrive. I have 8 interceptor lascannon shots for heldrakes, CronAir, or Farsight Bombs with 6 more Twin Linked Lascannons to help out with Skyfire, if I need it. Not sure haw to deal with a Jetseer Star, if I run into one so any advice (other than rage flipping the table) would be smiled upon.<br /> <br /> Thanks.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[  looks okay, quick question why swap the battle cannons on to the firestorms and not use them on the vengeance weapon batteries?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ It's actually just to remove the Quad Lascannons from the Redoubts. If the weapons on the Redoubt have Skyfire, they have to follow a targeting matrix, firing at the closest Flyer, then the closest Non-Flyer. With the Quad Lascannons on the Vengeance Batteries they lose that Targeting Matrix, and the Redoubt doesn't restrict my firing of the Battlecannons.]]></description>
