If I knew then, what I know now ...

I've been in this hobby for close to 25 years now. There are so many things I wish I had known about when I first started. What are those things you wish you had known?

1. How to magnetize models and more importantly, establishing a consistant polarity to every magnet I use (e.g., all magnets on the body, all have the same polarity)
2. Simple basing techniques. I have 100+ dwarves that I did decades ago, that used the plain green flock ... I am now looking at rebasing all of them.
3. Take color/paint notes. I look at some of my figures and have no idea how I painted them.
