I have a Stormeagle and a chaplain dreadnought with CC arms from Forge World left over from my GK army and LOTD detachment. I was contemplating using these in a small Marine detachment of some kind to add some CC to my Necrons.(Minotaur's) I know Marines are not ideal as allies but In Australia I cannot sell the Forge World for anything but a complete loss. So I can either sell them (they're brand new still in packets) or make use of them.as a small allied force used to drop in and do some CC damage.

Alternatively I am open to the idea of something completely new for an allied force although Chaos do not appeal to me.

I am thinking of painting the dread and storm eagle into Minotaur's. and buying 20x marines and 10x terminators squad with Minotaur's shoulder pads. They are a fast-moving, mid-range, shooty army that also has above-par durability. You can buff them up with some cheap scoring/screening units, or by sprinkling in some more long-range threats.
